  Appadiyellam sollidamudiyaadhu! Namma ooru makkal rasanaye thanithaan!! Illatti, IR yedhatku Malayalam moviesla indha experiments pannavEnum?
  Why dont we have producers that could venture out with IR in musical novelties, artists that could venture out in histrionics?? There are hard-core IR loyalistic producers (like KR, Siva, PanjuArunachalam, etc.,) who can try this out!! The only guy today in the tfm who is really interested in bringing out the best is Naser! Everyone else is just interested in the routine "run around the tree and love" stories!!
  A North Indian like K C Mehta is interested in IR and uses his services in India 24 Hours. A malayalam movie director uses him for innovations, new attempts. But tamil guys wouldnt do that!!

  No wonder IR won two of his three national awards for Telugu movies.
  
  No wonder Suhasini declares that she likes IR music the best but chooses ARR for Indira. No wonder Suhasini denounces Vairamuthu in Kumudam but he is the lyricist of choice.

  Dear friends , naan sollappovadhu konjam controversial aaga irukkalaam, but forgive me if you find it unacceptable - first thing is this - Illayaraja comes from a village - and mind you he has no parental background in music - and also note that when IR came into the field, the field was outright dominated by the so-called upper caste people in TN. The very fact that someone from a village has struggled and then come up in this music field is something for which IR must have shed blood. Even now IR is being ostracised mainly because of his CASTEIST background, because even now the TF industry is dominated by the forward caste group. This is what I have observed .
