Dear Guys
ARR Much Awaited Swades tamil version Desam released all over tamil nadu..Today moring the audio release function take place at Satyam Theatre..Vaali release teh fist CD and our Mastero Arr Get the first copy.

The top grosser in Tamil Nadu in audio sales this week was Swades, and that tells a tale.

1) Ayudham

This Prashanth-starrer has some loud mass songs. Not the best. But still, for want of competition, is rising in the charts.

2) Manmathan

Yuvan Shankar Raja is hot in the industry. Listen to Manmathan, you will know why.

3) Attagasam

The songs have started selling after the film's release. But Bharadwaj is surely capable of better things.

4) 7 G Rainbow Colony

Another Yuvan special. Selvaraghavan's chemistry with his trusted music director works.

5) In the season of Carnatic music, there is hardly any film that qualifies for the fifth slot

Since there is no more demand for ARR's music in TFM unlike Yuvan, HJ, and Vidyasaagar. The producers are not releasing until the movie is released.

SRK in an interview to a hindi music channel told that Mohan Bhargav's role was to be done by Madhavan initially, as ashutosh wanted a real engineer in that role....but had to go to SRK for obvious reasons.......hmmmmmmmm......Maddy, i think has been deprived of a lifetime oppurutnity.........

I got the cassette in Bangalore and the sweet lullaby Aahista Aahista by Udit Narayanan and Sadhana Sargam in Hindi is rendered by K.J.Jesudas and Madhushree in Tamil as Thai Paadum Thalattu.The song is real good

A.R. Rahman recycles old tune

AR Rahman has reused his own composition of ‘Baba Neeku Mokkuta' from Baba film in his latest Hindi album Swades starring Sharukh Khan. This song is 'Dekho Naa'. SP Bala Subramanyam and Sadhana Sargam rendered the Telugu version where as Alka Yagnik and Udit Narayan rendered the Hindi version. Rahman gave a surprise performance in Chennai at the filmdom's felicitation to TN CM Dr J Jayalalitha. Rahman has stopped scoring music for regional films after Bombay Dreams. He is on a contract with Sony music to cut an album .Forthcoming film Swades will be dubbed in Tamil-Telugu language.
It appears that UTV, the makers of Swades, plan to take the movie to great number of audience. That is why a decision has been reached to dub the movie in Tamil and Telugu for the movie lovers down South. However, it is confirmed that Rahman is re-recording the movie’s songs in Tamil-Telugu language with the same melodies as in the original.
Swades is scheduled to hit the theatres on December 17. The dubbed version will be released on the same day.
