Copied songs here

Ada, ARR's name mentioned first in the Copied songs website. Another feather in his cap :)

So wat man,
u got to understand music to know wat copying means. Definitely the songs uve mentioned here r copies and he has got the right to do it as long as there r greater copymasters as Deva. Deva lifts right and left and u people dont even care abt that and when ARR lifts pieces and bits u come up saying he is copymaster. jus keep the f**k off and dont ever say this again abt 'The God of music - ARR'. according to Bible even god made man in his own image... aint that copying tooo....?

both are copiers. its competition between who copies better and faster. i think ARR won by comfortable margin. He copies his own tunes in many films. its pity that none of ARR fans cant participate in this forum as they know they r not fit for this topic. the reason for downfall in tamil film music is due to ARR.

i am a arr fan...and everyone know deva is king of copying...rahman is the king of music...rahman might copy...but can deva beat vellai pookal??boom boom??? etc etc etc??!!pls dun argue with me..for u guys...its harris...for me rahman...diff opinions...

vs,
We aren't fit for such a filthy, stupid topic. As Vadivel sez in Singaravelan "Only you possible". Thanks for you highly knowledgable comments though. Again, Only you possible!

No comparison please. Both are GENIUSES in what they are doing, and they are equal in their achievements. Both were No.1 in TFM at some point of time. It is very hard to choose between the two.

For the same reason why people aren't comparing IR and Deva
Simple.

Someone start a thread comparing idi appam and noodles. please.

Some claim that ARR has more musical knowledge than Deva. Might be True. Deva might not have some musical family background, but there are some excellent tune and orchestration by Deva. Moreover, as a die-hard IR fan, I would say Deva is "TRYING" to derive from IR's pieces. IR fans, please note my comments. I didnt say he is close to IR. probably he is one light year away from mottai's knowledge. BUT, he is trying to derive(I dont want to mention the term copy) from IR, which pleases my brain.
Moreover, I personally found that most of the ARR's songs are based on some Arabic songs and western rap. So I am tending to redicule the 'musical knowledge' of ARR.
I would vote for Deva anyday.

hahaha
Why don't we compare them in this thread! :) Aren't people tired yet of comparing all these MDs to one another chaaaa this is sad how we go around comparing these people for there works, they put alot of effort into them, and some less than others, but it's not like we can create the type of stuff they do.
Anyhow, for once lets forget about it and compare noodles and idappam for once...aite..first of all..they are both STRINGY..yep..haha..and delicious....
haha aite sorrie for the disgression...!!!

ARR vs IR.....
ARR vs HJ
ARR vs YSR
ARR vs Deva...
so many comparisons against one man?....
it's too obvious why it is being made...
anyway...
idiyappam is just an indian noodle....
why idiyappam in circular shape whil noodle are more longer.....it's actually relatively connected to the way we eat...
Chinese uses chop sticks..which is long..and we use our fingers..which we bend it in an oval/round shape to pick our food....
not only that Chinese...they keep on moving...
but indians....will beat ard the same bush again and again and again...
for eg...u know how many different types of noodles are there?
note : noodle is also known as mee
1) instant noodle
2) Yee mee
3) some noodles looks like a worm
4) fried noodle...adn many more
and how many diff types of idiyappam we know
1) Plain idiyappam
2) masala idiyappam....
3) idi amin...(chi wrong list sorry)
see...that's the diff...
but i enjoy Idiyappam in the morning or for tea time...and i enjoy Noodle for lunch or dinner...
they taste good...
"anjae rubaiku maggi vange, anjae rubaiku maggi sappade, maggi maggi maggi"
mmmm...can we sing in the same tune for idiyappam?
"anjae rubaiku idiyappam vange, anjae rubaiku idiyappam sappade, idiyappam idiyappam idiyappam"
he he he
r u happy now Nisha?

haha ya paran i am...hmmm i just said that because 'Sapadram' was interested in noodles and idiappam.
"some noodles looks like a worm" argh luckily i had noodles LAST NIGHT!
Oh yah and in T.O they also sell them noodles called "Singapore noodles"..but then they they all look different in each of the stores. hehe and idiappam is much cheaper than noodles in T.O to.
Paran chaaa you even know those lines that come on the Sun TV commercial =P hehe but those little kids are cute in that Maggi instant noodles commerical.

Deva and IR will make a better comparison because
both of them are restricted to just TFM
None of the big fellows like Manirathnam, Shankar are interested in IR or deva.
so this will make the best comparison.
Another interesting thread would be like
Why IR remakes his tunes
eppovo chinna goundar ku potta pattelam ippavum Azagi la un kuthama podararu.
Are there only limited Raagas or is IR less creative.
- From: illayadeva (@ 210.214.128.81)
on: Fri Feb 6 05:40:42 EST 2004
IR gave melodious tunes but he repeated them often
by giving new touchups.
Too busy making money
Self confident that whatever he gives people will accept
didn't care to try new Raagas
used the same old tabla - rhythm and beats were also similar in most of the songs.
He used flute - probably will record a piece and play it again and again.
at various times.
Never dared to try anything different last 10 years - sticks to his music, that is why he is just a tamil film music director
Isai ku mummurthikal mathri ISAI alais IR Isaiyaraja nu pottupar aana tunes mattum repeat adipar.
Orey varthai sollanum na
Shameless - pride guy.
Thats why people have kept him where he needs to be.

Idiyaappam and Noodles? Well, lets not restrict ourselves to anything here! Leave enough scope for discussing about all the food items! ;-)
And yeah, without deviating from the topic, I like both Idiyaapan and Noodles. Let us not compare them and put down one item coz each item is good in its own way! ;-)
Noodles is pretty easy to make these days, and it is some quick food! Idiyaappam is catching up actually. You even have instant Idiyaappams! What do you think goes well with Idiyappam? I like it with Peas Masala or Kurma :-)
curryleaf, ne idea abt these food items?! :-)
Have you guys had Semiya? I hate it (Vermicelli!). That's similar to these items too but it is yucky! But Semiya Payasam is yummy!! Have you people tasted it?
