BHAVADHARINI`S VOICE

somehow i tend to like the voice of BHAVADHARINI.
I consider her voice sweet and pleasant.any comments????

  I can agree that her voice is sweet in only some songs. In others it doesn't fit. Did any of you listen to the Ramani Munivar song she did. It was excellent.

  i agree with suripri., Bhava's voice is good., but not for all songs., When compared to professional singers., i think she is not fully ready., thank god., IR is now very careful in choosing songs for her. my favourites are.,
  1 . poonkaatree., from kizakkum merkkum
  2 . ithu sangeethathirunaaloo from KM
  3 . yaaroo yaar yaaroo from ullaasam
  4 . all her works in KR's hindhi movie 'GRAHAN'
  
  she'll make a good singer. No doubt !

  As far as I know, Karthik Raja's GRAHAN had only 2 female playback singers: Asha Bhosle and Kavita Krishnamurthy.

  she misses beats quite often. Hardly any "baavam" in the voice.

  GRAHAN is an excellent score (Hindi). It's KR's debut in Hindi.
  The album was released almost a year ago, but the film has been delayed endlessly. Looking forward to listen to KR's BGM score.
  
  As for Bhavadarini's voice, I am not quite comfortable listening to it. It lacks the polish, expected of a professional singer. I think she needs to 'train' her voice before going ahead full steam, (and IMO 'spoiling' a few good numbers of IR in the process).

  I liked her singing in Masthaana, unnai vida matten and en veetu jannal etti and also in muthu muthu pookal. So many times I have got her mistaken with Harini when just hearing the voice. But Harini has lot more cultured voice. Harini is more professional. Bhav has to learn a lot b4 jumping in.

  I used to hate her voice!
  She sounded like she was trained and wasn't creative at all.
  But now she is okay.
  She is one type singer, can't sing all the songs.

  'muthu muthu pookkal' is by mano & harini., reg. 'grahan' Bhava's voice is not mentioned in cover., but she has done an excellent work ( ofcourse in chorous ) in almost all songs. listen to the songs once more & u'll find how attractive her voice is !., as somebody told., we can see a consistent improvement in her voice from 'mastana.,' to today's 'ilaya nilave.,'. she made some mistakes in some songs., but they are only minor. I am sure that IR made no mistake in introducing her & she is gonna do some wonders in TFM.

  Her voice sounds so young and sweet. But surely her vocal cords are not made for gymnastics. Not surprising where she inherited them from (IR) !!. Its a kind of flat voice, I guess. Not suited for all types of songs. Even IR mentioned she should train more. I still get the impression she is really tensed up while singing.

  masthana is by arunmozhi & bhavadharini. she has sung one solo song before rasayya - (in sethupathi IPS., I am sure about this. I just forgot the lyrics of the song )But i don't know why these guys (including IR) are saying mastana is her first song ??
  reg. bhava in other MD's songs - 2 songs are in this list one from 'nerukku ner' - thudikkinra kaathal' with mano & anupama MDed by Deva & the second one 'alps malai kaatru' from 'Thedineen vanthathu' with Hariharan MDed by Sirpi. I don't know why this list stops here !

  Enakku sirippu thaan varudhu. IR introduce panninaal thanga oosiyaa irundhaalum kannula kuthikka mudiyuma? ARR introduced Udith Narayan for Tamil. His pronunciation is just ATROCIOUS. Adhukkaaga ARR introduce pannina aalnu vaazhthi varaverka mudiyumaa?

  Listen Kadhal Kavithai - Bhavadharini had sung a song written by IR. To me, it is excellent!!

  'kaathe kaathe.,' is one of my fav. by Bhava., she sings like a typical village girl expressing the feelings which are required for this type of songs !. but it is not from poonchoolai., it is from a film 'punniyavathi'. pooncholai has 2 excellent Bhavadharini duets - 'gaanak kuyile' & 'Un peraik kettaale.,'

  this week Juniorvikatan has one interview of ARR. here ARR has given his opinion about Bhava .Actually he tried to use bhava for a song in 'Iruvar' it seems. but she was very busy at that moment & the song needed a quick delivery. so he used some other singer & recorded the song.

  Yaaaaaaaaaaaa! Haaaaaa! Hooooooooo!(all yawns, Just heard Bhavatharinis songs) Add some life to the voice yaar! The only Tamil voice from Tamilnadu known to IR, KR and YSR alone is their only "rathathin ratham" sister Bhavatharini. It is a pity that some good songs which would have been best with Chitra, Swarnalatha or to the least considered Sasireka, TK kala, become ill fated for the father and son MDs. This is only a family voice. Better wake up before you listen to the next one.

  Even I heard Dheena. You are right, she comes in the middle and Haaaa...Ya.., and you wake up later.
  
  Just because she is Ilayarajas daughter and sister of the music directing brothers, you cannot take tfm for a ride. It would have been best with Chitra, Kavitha krishnamurthy, Anuradha Podwal etc if not for local tamil singers as posted by nithin. Ilayaraja never made any singers children to sing or promote music directors children during his career prime.
  
  It is destiny that IR who vehemently vindiacated other musicians children to take up to music, by discouraging them and refusing oppurtunities, is trying to promote his daughters voice (even forgetting his kerala and telugu voices)and his sons as MDs and now the 'tables have turned'.
  
  Arunachaleshwaraa! Ellam un thiruvilayadal. Vinayai vidaithavan vinayai aruppan! Inimelavathu budhdhi varattum!

  Yeah, you're right. Bhava's Dheena song is the number one hit in TN. I am not a big fan of Bhava's voice either. If you don't like it, simply skip it, or atleast write why don't like her voice. atha vituttu...
  
  FYI, even ARR approched her once to sing for Iruvar. So what you would say now?
