Audio of Mahesh Babu's latest flick 'Naani' would be releasing on 19th March 2004, finally after AR Rahman decided to kill the suspension.
As per reliable sources, Aditya music has bought the rights of Naani music for an astonishing price of around 1.1 crores. Amisha Patel is paired up with Mahesh in this movie and is directed by SJ Suryah - who directed films like Vali and Kushi - is directing this bi-lingual.
The tamil version will have SJ Suryah himself paired with Simran. For the telugu version, however, Manjula - heroine and producer of award-winning 'Show' film - is producing a film under Indira Productions banner. AR Rehman scored 7 tunes for this film. Naani movie is slated for release on 29th April 2004.
The film has Ramyakrishna in a special appearance which is thankfully another listless item number. The film also has Iswarya, Shakeela, Brahmandam, Ali, Sunil, Raghuvaran, Ravibabu and Kota Srinivas rao in character roles.

---- Last time Mani-Rahman combination Kannathil Muthamittal was purchased by Tips for Rs 80 Lakhs. But Tips had to wind up their Chennai operations after both the album and the film crashed.
Similarly more than a year back when Sony debuted in Tamil with Kathal Virus, the audio bombed so badly that they had vowed never to make a comeback to Chennai. But as they are international promoters of A.R.Rahman and Bombay Dreams they were forced to save him from the embarrassment in his home turf.---------
Hhahhaa, seems like "Tips" people learned their lesson! OTH, poor Sony has to go with thundu mannan. TM will deliver his special thundu to Sony, that's for sure!

It is known that Prince Mahesh babu's next film will be 'Naani', that is if you forget the unprecedented delays the film had to undergo, thanks to AR Rahman's busy schedule.
Now the producer of the flick, Manjula(sister of Maheshbabu) is finally happy that AR Rahman has finished the work and finished it in style. Now the entire crew is happy with the output AR Rahman has managed for the movie and is excitedly looking forward to completing the post-production work.
The film has now been officially announced to be released on April 28th as a Summer special, if there are no other serious hurdles on the way.
Let's keep our fingers crossed!

The other one is the long-awaited Mahesh Babu's 'Naani'. This movie which was supposed to be released last year September went through so many tentative release dates, thanks to AR Rahman, that one might be tempted to believe that the film may after all not be released at all. But things have taken a positive turn with AR Rahman finalizing his compositions for the movie. The audio will be now released the next week and movie's date is fixed at April 28th. Let's keep our fingers crossed, this time.
