This is not a usual list of 10 best
first i selected some 50 songs which i considered as his best and after listening to it many times i finalised this list and i think the list will be not satisfy many but this is my personal opinion and these songs i consider are some of the best songs in the world

Discuss on my selection and add your own list of 10 best. Please those who don't like ARR stay apart and don't make spoil this thread with senseless comparisons, foolish qrguements and entering bad words etc., which normally happens in all the threads posted here

Irrespective of the order,my preferences are:
1)Margazhi Poove-MAY MADHAM-for sheer melody (special to me)
2)Nila (Hariharan version)-INDRA
3)Bombay Instrumental piece
4)Kannuku mi azakhu-PUTHIYA MUGAM
5)Pennala-UZHAVAN
6)Suttum vizhi-KKK
7)Malarkale-LOVE BIRDS
8)Radha se-LAGAAN
9)Kattre –RHYTM
10)Only u-VANDE MATARAM

Very ordinary songs of ARR IMHO:
1) Naalai ulagam (Love Birds) - very noisy and purposeless wandering of the song - painful to ears
2) Coimbatore maanukutti (Pavithra) - doesn't need ARR for this kind of usual tune
3) Mere Yaara dil dara zara sun sun - (Kabhie na Kabhie) - boring
4) A song from Asokan
5) Mercury pookal (Ratchagan)
6) Karisal tharisil ('D'aajmahal)
7) I am sorry - (One two Ka four)
8) Come on Come on o kamatchi - (Love Birds)
Good but unfit for regional song
9) Chidiya tu hoti to - (Nayak)(translation of Azhagana Ratchasiyey) - misfit for a Hindi song Riti Gowla doesn't appeal in Hindi
10)Meri saari subahon mein tu hi tu (Kabhie Na Kabhie)- again very tamilish song feels out of place in Hindi, and that language royally killed by MGSreekumar)
