Flaws in Movies

Recent PKS
Only the boarding hostel scene is in Singapore. The rest are in Malaysia and M'sian police have been used (or replica) in the movie, which they claim to be Singaore Police. Singapore police would never agree to do such a scene - A tamil police lets Dhanush escape. Only if some Tamil Govt Official sees this it would be in for another ban!

  Did you enjoy the climax scene in Thayakam?

  whoz movie is Thayakam? Don't remember c'ing that one. And man, U had the courage to watch the songs sequence in "Narasimma"???? We never did that for Isha is my favorite and I get a bad ulcer to c her with that fat pig.(Fumimg ..........)

  The vk-comp scene where he finds all the bribe acceptors (acf) he actually had Windows media player on his screen with all the tabs(Now playing, MEdia Guide)and the words"windows media player" is so clear and he can type his words out...   In thayakam i don't know for reason VK goes to Pakistan, he rescues a scientist plus 3 ladies and brings them home in a helicopter.
  While approaching the Border Vijayakanth ponders, Naama Pakistan leruthu Varomey, Namma helicopter indian army shoot (sutt) pannuvangaley enna panrathu.
  Suddenly VK whisphers something to all the 3 ladies, They remove their sarees ( 3 ladies were wearing green white and Saffron) and give him, VK makes the Tri-color flag and the indian army drop their guns and salute Captain VK :).
  And finally Napolean who was flying the helicopter says something in english flattering VK :) Ethuku Darma darisanam pathathuka illa uyira kapathinathuka? i still dont have an answer :)

  Are you sure the name of the movie is "Thayagam" , going by the way you explained this movie seems to be more interesting than narasimma . Are you sure about the name, i was thinking . I need to run to the video shop to check this movie. heheehhe

  I saw a movie today in some channel..
  it had a young (!!) VK paired w/ Amala.
  
  He goes to a party to report back to someone..
  He asks a lady if she cud give him company as he didnt know ne1 around....
  
  Finally b4 leaving he says, "Gembany kuduthathukku romba danks".. left me smirking for the next 15 minutes! :)

  I think the movie is Thayagam, i didn't watch the movie in full, but when i visited my friend he insisted me to watch the climax and we had a blast :)
  
  i remember a scene in Vallarasu, Kasan khan who is a terrorist manages to get a fake police Id card, next day in the police parade, VK would order the cadet about turn, all the guys would sit and Khasan khan who is intruder will turn and Captain will press the trigger with his conventional smile.
  Damal, a terrorist would have been killed, i am sure even James bond with all the cutting edge technologies wouldn't have diffused a terror blow like this.

  Watch Vijaykanth in "Thandhana Thandhana Thai Maasam" esplly when he goes "Aaathaadi Aathaadi"!! :-)) He's on a mission!!
  
  I happened to watch E20U18 today. But for TRISHA and SHRIYA, padam kodumaiyada saami!! I was actually thinking I could list out the flaws in that film, but padamey flaw!! :-)

  There is this one scene in rajjiyam where he investigates a murder , Vijayaganth finds a Syringe that was lying on The floor and gets the Syringe like Spiderman using a Magnetic Wire from his hands.
  
  But ur right when compared to Narasimha , rajjiyam falls short in comedy.

  there are a whole lotta ppl in here who have a field day by passing sarcastic comments about the tamil pronunciation of some singers. That must answer ur last qn.
  
  Public forum, i agree.. but i'm yet to come across a person who's been offended by ppl laughin at VK! If u read through this thread, u'll see we'r actually talkin about the complete lack of intelligence and absolutely corny dialogues in "captain"'s films. The pronunciation bit sneaked thru.. we cudnt help it! *sheepish grin*
  
  I agree it's cruel to taunt someone who's not as adept at a language as he wants to be, but gives it a shot neway.. we'd never think of teasing a DFer if his English is bad...
  but w/ VK, it's a different matter altogether! Here I speak for myself , so pls dont get the idea that everyone here can be THIS cruel! :)
  
  But you do deserve a pat on the back to have actually managed to get a lil serious in this thread! I'd have thot it impossible! NOM, man, I'm not teasin u or nething.. i really meant that!
  
  neways, the bottomline is, the topic says "flaws in Movies", and we have VK mouthing and performing such hilarious stuff and actually expecting the audience to be awestruck and applaud. If that ain't a flaw, i dont know what is!

  my apologies if i've hurt nebody's sensibility... but most of us visit this thread for some kinda respite from an otherwise serious life...
  Closer home in this very forum, in 3 outta 4 threads, u'll have ppl passing rude remarks, putting down one MD solely becoz they are fans of another, making vicious Personal Attacks (most of them WAY below the belt).
  
  In fact, I was kinda surprised at the kinda unity existing in this thread! IR fans, ARR fans, nebody for that matter, they all put aside their differences and actually had a good laugh! (at the expense of VK, yet......! :) )
  
  If u still think all this is err... barbaric, we'll.. err.. I'll stop right there! not another word about his pronunciation!
