BTW, are you mentioning that you can record the songs for ME to upload, or you are just mentioning that you wish you could record and put songs for your site....I am confused. If you are going to send me songs to publish it in my page, please do it ASAP, as I just have less than 2 weeks.

Another song I want to suggest is one great KJY/KSC number from film `Pasapparavaigal' : `Then pandiththamizhe, en singarakkuyile' Chances that this is hosted at any site are remote!

each and every classical update is classic. how about pujai undu nnjai undu which is of shudhadanyasi raga from unnal mudiyum thambi(thats what he says in the movie) & the raga is strictly not IMO.

another song, which comes to my mind is 'indha mininiku kannil oru minnal ' from sigapu rojakkal.
IMO, he is a MD's singer like the term director's actor. MV needed MD to guide and fine tune him, and in that aspect, IR was very much instrumental in MV's success in late 70s and early 80s.
His voice is very inconsistent ( if you ever happened to sit in one of his live concerts, you
know what I mean). We used call jokingly that MV was to TFM, what kumar sanu is to HFM now.

This was the song which I always used to `hum' but could not recollect the starting lines, when I tried to record this song last year in India.

I tried explaining as best as i could to the cassette recording person....this is exactly the song...Yes it is by IR.....but am not sure about the movie....I vaguely remember that this film has Mohan in the lead......

Thanks for pointing out this one. I will definitely record this one this time when I go to India....

Listen to this song -- Song # 247 --"Katti Vachuko" from CHINNA PASANGA NAANGA....Great great song....Wonderful beats and rhythm.....Wow!! what about the starting flute interludes.....Simply amazed and stunned....whenever I listen to this one....

Mouname Nenjil naallum neer yezhudum, Kanave, Kavithai, Undhan Poovizhi raagam paadava. I miss this song of KJY that came and went. The song was sung by Shivakumar in the movie. Shivakumar like Mohan have done great job when rendering IR's songs. Nee paada ththaaane Yezhu swarangal.....
