Recently i bought two tamil film music albums.
Usually u like the songs immediatly or in one or two listenings.
OR
As A.R.Rahmans fans would say that u should keep on listening and u wil begin to like the songs and understand the musical intricasies in it.i have also felt the same for many music albums.
BUT
I tried all these methods with those albums i bought.I listened it in the morning. I listened it in the afternoon. I listened it in the evening.I listened it in the night.I almost lived with them. but still i could not get them inside my mind or heart.
The question is what u do with these kind of albums?
The unfortunate albums are..
1.Azhagi
2.Kasi
CAN ANYONE HELP ?
P.S.
If anyone want those album i will gladly send it free of cost.
I feel this is the only way out.But anybody willing to bear the toture?
kindly let me know.

Good questions, no jalra. I would love to hear a response to those questions, which don't contain personal attacks on u, me and other ARR fans. It's getting harder these days for IR fans to resist from mud-slinging anyone who don't worship IR the way they do.
Just look at the posts by Neutral Fan, tigger, mahabs, they can't make a point and stop there. To make up for their own lack of substance they first need to condemn someone else b4 they can feel like they've said something worthwhile. It's quite sad.

my humble view on this is
1. "Andrew Lloyd Webber and MJ did not come here to invite ARR to contribute...it is him who was introduced to them by NRIs, who probably urged to give a chance...Raja I don't think he wishes that...
2. Has ALW and MJ has heard atleast 10 of Raja's songs...
3. Can they understand this side of human feelings and corresponding music...If they had they have had appreciated other musicians too..
4. First, let ARR have a charismatic chair in (tamil/malayalam/telegu/kannada) people's mind and let u guys worry about the next circle...
5. How does ALW/MJ's opinion matter..I do hear only ARR's music everywhere else in the world...Petty matter!

Actually no jalra, I considered the pertinent question in ur post as >>what is ur opinion on western music critics rejecting our maestro isaigani's symphony ? << which i find interesting bcos i've no idea wat happened to tat symphony evryone was talking abt. I, of course wish IR well on tat matter. And i consider ur comment on ARR as more of a rhetorical statment.
And just an advise to u no jalra. Don't mention to IR fans any achievements by ARR. They'll do everything possible to put it down and dismiss it as unimportant. I've seen it happen in so many threads.

Yennya..Symponya pudichchu thongareenga..Ethuvum kidaikkleena kadaisila inge varum....If you are really (genuinely) interested in symphony music..hear to Siraichalai, Hey Ram, Houseful, Kinda movies...to thirst your quench...Some are doing the job of posting the links here.. If you symphony only in a cassette form (I do not understand the real reason) just send an email to IR. It is going to cost less time than making a posting here. remember, we are as or more eager than you guys..But it matters only to less extent as we hear symphony music in many..many movies...everyday...You can also do the same..

Fliflo, if u do not have the answer to the question, don't feel obliged to post something for the sake of it. It's quite clear what exactly no jalra is talking about. He's talking abt one particular symphony set, and i did not see him addressing the question to u in particular, so if u don't have the answer there's an option available called not replying.

WhyNot:
This symphony question was the first question I ever asked in this forum. And, my dear friend flifo was the first one to answer. I didn't get the exact answer yet and he didn't change the answer till now.
Flifo:
yenna naan solradhu sari dhaane?
Whynot:
Infact, I visited the RPH site and posted a request there.
Weeks later, I had a personal response from a person called Siva (I don't remember exactly), who happens to be in this forum (I beleive). He simly said that, it seemed that all is in the hands of IR. If IR wishes sym. will be released.
Whenever, such question is asked, either it is said that ,"why don't you read John Scott?" or "MSV and Subbudu have given high certificated".
My only question is, as a member of public and as one amoung the millions who rejoyed the night the news about IR composing symphony came and still beleive that its a great honour for the country's arts, DON'T I HAVE THE RIGHT TO LISTEN TO IT AND AS WHETHER IT'W WORTH OR NOT?
Don't you too think so.?

For all who talk about IR's symphony:
It is true that there were many topics on this including from Genuine IR fans and many like CF (tilted ARR fan), who feels that this can be a better pivot to argue against. The answer yet unfound though there are some scattered information (how true are they but) around about this. A highly matured way to deal with it is to either just wait till get released or send IR/John Scott?copy right holders a genuine email or post requesting for these people. I do not find any reason to post this topic repeatedly as no body else has an answer for this. What IR has given, why it has not been released, what kinda copyright problems it is facing..I am sure there were a lot discussed before. All these questions can be answered just simply only by the concerned people..May be rajaangham knows about it...Regarding the content, though no direct information is available..indirectly..people like Subbudu and MSV have personally seen it and had great regards for IR (again from some published source)..So by just hanging to this further proves just one point..they have nothing else to discuss..for more details they can go to concerned topics published here from say 1995 onwards...It is not that somebody knows and hides..Me being a HCIRF, welcome anybody to come forward with some new/relevant info..otherwise, what is the point? is there any meaning discussing something what we do not know..But as i told repeatedly, if your aim is genuinely listening to this kinda music..I think many movie BGMs are there...thanks to people like UVII and others, who takes lots of effort in collecting and keep posting it here then and there..No need to spend 2 cents to listen such great creations...right? Only pre-requiste is genunity to concentrate on them...
If still people hang to this

Whom do you feel that they have the answer? Do you think somebody knows and hides? In that case why one should hide? At least give people a clue..I can understand your true(:-)) intention..In that case, have you ever sent a letter/email to Raja himself? If not please do that before you post the same stuff here. May be you get an answer and your service by posting the message will greatly appreciated. Since you live in Madras, it could easier to send a letter to the creator himself rather your friend sending a letter to the organizer...Hope you utilize the fantastic opportunity of living in Chennai to quench your thirst....Eagerly waiting for something new from you!!

Fliflo:
John Scott did say in his reply to some IR fan that critics said IR's symphony is not upto western classical standards. That is the reason IR hasn't released it. I assume whaterver IR has done may not be in pure form of western classical but in fusion form. If he releases it, definitely will be well received in India like HTNI, NBW. But I don't think it as a failure and I assume not every symphonies written by Bach or Mozart is a hit. Rather it's a learning process, I hope IR definitely will come and do something to get western classical critics approval in future. That is the reason he uses Budapest's orchestra for many BGMs nowadays to get a feel of full orchestra. Lets see how he does in the coming years.
