  SSSSA, I say with Cho again. Just ignore people like (IIR (@ 212.211.136.33)). They simply don't know the value of these things. They talk bad about everything not started by them. And they don't generally come forwards and start anything good.
  
  An Year Back i really thought this is a dream and not a practical idea. But i am surprised and appreciating your determination for bringing this project a long way. Take this from me "You have been a part of a great thing in a greater level". And this service of yours will make feast of music to millions in the future.

  Considering the greatness of Sri.Ilayarajaa, bayarea tamil manram extended its hands to join with TIS team to celebrate TIS at bayarea in JUL 11th.
  Unfortunately due to the recording the event has been postponed. The new dates will have to be confirmed by TIS team.
  We thank the efforts by Sridhar_b12 in bringing the Sri.IR programm in Sanjose area to support TIS.

  IIR will be returning to India by tomorrow having completed the preliminary arrangements/discussions with the conductor and the orchestra in Budapest and will leave for recording the TiS from July 4-15 in two sessions.

  If there are any IIR fans in Budapest, pl. let me know if you can accommodate one or two people [not IIR!!]for the above period at your place. Trying to be frugal and save some money! Thanks.

  hello all, just met Father Jegath (the main coordinator of TiS) in Cary, NC. i was very impressed with his dedication and commitment to this project - which BTW IS going to happen against all odds.
  
  coming to the point...i believe the short term need is another $45,000 for this project - by mid-July...it is a very aggressive target but definitely doable...i am sure most ppl who visit this forum have already made their contribution to this project...but i request you to consider donating more and get your friends/family to contribute...

  please use this URL for any future publicity...the main TiS page as you may have realised by now is grossly outdated...tis-usa.com is maintained in the US and so you can expect more accurate info here...

  The site looks good. Good work.
  It looks like the contributed people list is not complete. I hope, it will reflect the names of all the people contributed to this project soon, not just based on arbitary filter criteria.
  Also, it would be helpful if few sample music bits from the project made available in the web site as soon it is availble.

  You are correct! The list is not complete. ;'Thoppus' is not at fault. He is to be congratulated for what he has done. It is our fault in not providing the complete list. The reason is quite elaborate which we will divulge later. But we assure you that the list will try its best to be accurate to reflect all the names who have donated so far.
  By the way, the total collection stands at 35K and the total liability is another 65K.
  Some hard core fans have come up with loans to the tune of another 25K and they want to be anonymous.
  But, nobody has so far pledged their houses nor gone beyond their means.
  The so called IIR fans have to come up with whatever they can at this juncture with whatever they can to make this happen by making up with the remaning 30 K or so.
  Fr. Jegath has gone to Hungary hoping and believing that we WILL come up with the required money. We should not fail him.
  We are appealing to all IIR fans that this moment is very critical and we totally bank on you. As IIR said that this project is and will happen ONLY by small donations and this is the time to show our determination that this will happen as IIR has envisioned.

  Regarding the samples, it is not possible as IIR wants only the final product to be available and not otherwise. Hope you understand.
  At this momnent, we are looking for people in USA and other countries to get in touch with us in aserious way, if you are willing to sellor distribute at least 100 CDs at your command. We will explain to you the modalities.
  This is being requested to avoid to the extent possible to have the CD come out in MP3 format by any crooks.
  Alaso, this way we want to make the Cd available at the same time on a specific day so as to facilitate all the IIR fans and the general public to buy the original Cd .
  This is being planned as a world-wide-premiere to benefit all the fans.
  Hope you all understand what we mean and will get in touch with us NOW to avoid dubious distribution.
  We made this happen and we will make sure that it reaches all of us properly.
