  Seems IR's symphony is going to be a reality. Just now my friend called me up and said that a article about that has appeared in some tamil magazines, vikatan most probably.

  IR News should be promoted on a large scale. With a separate website if possible. Postings should focus on day to day life of Raja, if someone keep the minutes, I can second them. This should become our India 24 hours.
  
  Jokes apart, I mean we just need to have a newstrack on Raja just as we discuss his work of ages past, we have to keep track of his every move. Like I said, we should start tracking down the Symphony. The speculation and the silence is really bothering me.

  I read in Ananda Vikatan interview of Zakir Hussain that he is having discussions with Kamal
  for Marudanayagam and he would love to do it if time permits. He goes on to say if he doesnt have time, perhaps someone else will do it. Kamal is also having discussions with IR. Long time since
  IR composed for Kamal. I dont know if they have
  misunderstanding or something like that. Suddenly
  such a long gap.
  
  Does anyone know if Kamal contacted IR first or ZH
  first for Marudanayagam. Whom so you guys think will get first preference incase both agree to do it? I want to know if Kamal is talking with IR bcos ZH does not have time or vice versa

  I do not think there is any misunderstanding between Kamal and IR- because, in every interview of his , Kamal makes mention of IR at least once - moreover, IR must have been busy with other projects - Kamal will definitely prefer IR- come on, don't joke Kamal's lifetime dream, magnum opus, and without IR, no way - it has to be IR - ZH may give good music, but IR is IR - Kamal without IR will be like Madurai without Vaigai.

  zakir hussain is not a tamilian and it is very difficult for him to score music for a film set in TN and that too 200 years back.he does not have that 'smell' of the tamil bhoomi and culture.i do not know hy kamal even thought about him.nor has he composed music for innumerable number of films.
