  With the story line of Rajini’s latest Jaggubhai well known, the industry grapevine is working overtime and if the news is to be believed, efforts are on to rope in Aishwarya Rai and Rani Mukherjee from Bollywood to play Rajini’s leading ladies.

  His movies are a welcome to Kollywood, as rain to Chennai. Rajini’s Jaggubhai is one of the biggest news to the hit starved Tamil film industry. In the two years of hibernation, he has been listening to stories from ‘whose who’ directors in the industry. Finally he settled for his blockbuster Padayappa director, K.S. Ravikumar.
  With Rajini announcing the movie, speculations started as to who will be his leading lady. With his erstwhile heroine Soundarya no more, the path is created for many contenders. Already the industry is buzzing that the superstar wants a top name from Bollywood. What about the storyline? Audiences always expect something new. The grapevine says that it is the story of a terrorist who is mellowed down by a spiritual woman Shantha Sakkubhai. The story revolves around Maharashtra. The actor and the director are expected to finalize the other artistes and also fine tune the screenplay before shooting commences. The producers are Rajnikant's brother R. Sathyanarayana Rao Gaekwad, K. Sathyanarayana who heads the Rajni fans organization and K. Murali, who is in charge of the Ragavendra Kalyana Mandapam, owned by Rajnikanth.

  Aana ippo avunga presently item numbers dhaan panraanga mainly. Rajni padathukkum neways it doesn't make a difference who the heroine is. I feel Rajni is just wasting money trying for some Bollywood heroines. Sollumpadiya role edhuvum irukkadhu heroine-ku, adhukku edhukku avalo paisa?

  Coward or not, the guy has completely lost his marbles since the past 2 years. Better to retire gracefully from public life than make gaffe after gaffe.
  Who else would convene a press conference, get 1000 people throng the area all around, read out a 'prepared' speech, and give an absolutely rotten message that nobody could make head or tail off?!?
  High time TN looks upto Abul Kalams, not half baked cracks from the cine world - as it is TN cinema is crapping big time these days.

  Aaha...What was wrong about what he said in the conference? Enna thappa sollittaru adhula? Vaai kolari Paatali Machigal-nu sonnaru, adhellam ok! I went to the extent of thinking that Rajni couldn't have prepared that statement - Cho would have. This I feel is true. Rajni-ku andha alavukku ellam sensible pesa mudiyaadhu. Loosu thanama edhaavadhu seyyardhu dhaan mudiyum. It was very clear from how he literally read it out. And I am a Cho fan! :-)

  That conf was completely cloaked in ambiguity and went neither here nor there. Read the Kumudam issue that came up that week - the RK camp was totally disillusioned with the farce their presscon turned out to be.

  Baba was crushed by Run at the box office.
  
  Just look at the huge success of Autograph, Saamy, thiruda thirudi, Kadal Konden.
