Why are singers from the North (or West, rather) made to sing tamil songs?

  Singers from North ,West, East - Reason is because there are fans for Bhupen Hazarika in tfm page. Tamil voices definitely need a promotion.

  Singers from south are talented, but their SELFRESPECT keeps them out of, begging for chances.They honour the oppurtunities they get, even if it is few in number. Singers from north west and east capitalise on this and butter MDs and brainwash them and get all the chances and kill the music and language. The 'broadminded tfm MDs' compromise everything for the sake of 'crowcatchers', give them their best numbers and later frustated with failures start talking about 'oorugai and appalams'. They dont relish the value of the rich vegetables and the rich recipes (native voices) in their hands. They realise it only after their popularity is doomed and when they are free without tfm work.
  
  The singers whom they promoted out and out during their glorious periods switch over to the next popular MDguy with work and are least bothered about the MD who promoted them till recently.This has been happening for years, minimally until 1976, and with maximum intensity after that.

Our MDs fall for it and give all their best nos. to them thinking that they will be thankful. As history proves till recent date, appalams and urugais are given with them and the rich nutrtious recipe of their own language remaining unused is realised when their popularity is doomed.
  
  These singers grab all the songs, become rich and buy bungalows and switch over to the next popular MD, not bothering about the original promoter. This is a long reputed happening in tfm, which worsened after 1976 in tfm.

  Just days before I read the rates of different singers;
  
  Udit Narayan - Rs. 60,000/song
  Hariharan - Rs. 25,000/song
  SPB - Rs. 10,000/song

  I just saw pothumappas posting in a discussion about Siva chidambaram. Until you have such ? deaf tfm listenes with no taste for either music or language details in a film song, you will have MDs to use voices from E,W,N and from other planets also.

  For a tamil song the music director makes the producer for the following singers.
  UDIT....Rs 50000plus business class air fareChennai..Mumbai return..RS 14000 plus 5 star hotel stay for a dayRs14000 plus AC hired car Rs2000 ...totaling Rs 80000.
  For Hariharan, Shanker Mahadevan same expenses but their fees is less and each BONDIFY the producer per song RS 50000
  Same applies to Sadhana Sargam...
  Where as Mano,Jayachandran,Sandhya,Unnimenon are available forRs3000.....Kodumaida....

  Leave alone expenditures. Where did the so called "thamizh unarvu" go for these film people?
  
  They remember and realize this reality only after their market is gone, and when they are left alone with no one around & their favourite singers flying away to kerala, andhra or mumbai not even bothering to mention their names, to canvass with the new MD on the market. Be it MSV, IR or anybody as MD.
