Worst Lyrics in TFM

Hi Folks,
I'm starting this thread to discuss and enlighten myself about some of the worst lyrics written for TFM. I can list a Few:

1. Dai Dai Dingiri Doi kathirikolu by TR.

2. Sangu chakkara sami vandhu... by VM

3. Lalaakku dol dappi ma by Vaali

innum evvalavo thevittatha ganangal.

  In the film Rajathi Raja, in the song "Mama On Ponna Kodu", there is a line which goes like
  "Ayiram irundhalum on Magala Pola varuma, Manakkudhu theruvellam ada Vazhampoovu kurma"

  You should definitely include all songs from the film "Indhu" in your list.

  "parotta" - (Vandicholai Chinraasu)

  -Fair and lovely face cut-uu pineapple jacket-uu
  -swing swing unathu oonjal naan
  -madonna paadalaa nee mumbaiyin model-aa nee (come to think of it everything from Kaadhalaa Kaadhalaa movie except saravana bava)
  -anaconda. . .(thankfully I've forgotten the rest)
  -Hairabba (mostly the pallavi)
  -dhoori dhoori dhummakka dhoori
  -dhoori dhoori manadhil oru dhoori
  -salakku salakkuch chaelai
  -all songs from Ratchagan (except nenjae nenjae and kanavaa illai kaatraa)
  -all songs from Fantasy

  -Most songs from AVM productions after Pokkiri Raaja and before Minsaarak Kanavu

  Appuram singalathu sinna kuyile pattu first line - Jingala Jinga jeeboomba jingala jinga , kannu valikkum killadhe.. ularaldhan. But adhukkappuram konjam paravayillama irukkum lyrics.

  While I agree with almost the entire list you've given, I feel the 'enna venum thinnugada' song is a right fit for the situation.( It's some dinner party of a lavishly spending hero in that movie).
  
  My list:
  
  - oh ranga sreelanka koppara thenga (disgusting!)
  - maarugo maarugo maarugayi.. (god knows the meaning!)
  - many songs from indian and kaadhalan ( man.. all of 'em sound like the lyricist was suffering from a 110 degree fever at the time of penning!)
  - whitu leggan kozhi onnu koovudhu ( yyyuck..!)
  - laalaakku dol dabbi maa ( nambungappaa.. idhu thamizh paattudhaan!)
  - ngoppan mavane ngoppan mavane dandanakkara.. danakkara dandanakkara ( i had tough time writing the last three "words". probably the lyricist TR, also being the MD coudn't write some meaningful words like the previous words in the same line, after composing the tune! very hard to believe he's the same guy who wrote 'paarkadalil thaththalithu naan edutha muthu'. Hmmm.. ellaam namma thalai ezhuthu!)
  
  Guys, next 'Saraswathi Poojai' season, do make it a point to pray Goddess Saraswathi to offer some good poetical knowledge to these so called lyricists, lest the TFM be doomed! I'm a strong believer in 'koottu praarthanai' and hope our prayers will be answered!

  on second thoughts, films from AVM did have quite a few good songs in the period you mentioned.
  
  - thoongaathe thambi thoongaathe
  - pudhumai penn
  - uyarntha ullam
  - mella thirandhathu kadhavu
  - manidhan ( some songs are good)
  - ejamaan ( i believe its from AVM)
  
  you probably thought so about these movies:
  
  - sakala kala vallavan
  - shankar guru
  - raja chinna roja
  
  
  continuing with the list:
  
  - almost all 'gaana' songs(!?) from deva.
  - sittan sittan kuruvi... unakuthaane.. ( pudhu nellu pudhu naathu)

  just what was the above line supposed to mean? I'm at loss!
  
  coming to think of it, we seemed to be referring to songs that have filler words with no relevance to the context, as non-sensical songs, right?! in the similar lines, what do we call those songs that contain carnatic style aalaabanai like, 'aaaaaaaaa', or the lines in 'paadariyen padippariyen':
  
  saasaga saasaga saasaga sarigama..
  maamaga maamaga maamaga ...

  Vimal,
  
  That song ("Annanagar Andal") was a great(?!) one. I am saying this because, at the time when that film was released, in all the tea-shops this song will be played. I laughed at hearing this song and when I commented about it, my friend got irritated (He loves such songs) and told me, "Not all can write lyrics like this... some songs need to be like this for us students to dance... if all songs are melodious, will you like it?". I argued with him and I was not able to convince him. I apologized and just left the matter. But, when it comes to "Worst lyrics in TFM", I couldn't forget this song. The lyrics were forced into my memory, because at that time, this song was played in all the channels, tea-shops, etc. etc. What to do? Indha iniya sorkala (?!) ellam namma virumbi kaettukkalainnaalum, adhuva namma kaadhula thenaa (?!) vandhu paayudhu.
