  Raja brought a unique trend in tamil film music
  by successfully blending folk music with western
  
  Can we make a list of naaturapura paadalgal?
  
  I have a few songs here. I dont know what
  category they belong to ?
  
  Thuppaki Kayileduthu oru thottavai payileduthu
  - Kodai Mazhai (It also had another great song
  I cant recollect the words)
  
  Aaru Adhu Aazham Illai
  - Mudal Vasantham
  
  Aathadi pavadai Kaathada - Poo Vilangu
  
  There is another thuppaki song in another movie
  which came in late 80s/early nineties. It had 2 female voices, Anybody remembers?
  
  The above mentioned songs are an example
  of the kind which Raja came up with pretty often. What genre of music they fall into?
  Is it folksy or dappanguthu?

  Rajesh you are right. The movie is nianvE oru sangeetham.
  That movie also has another folksy song.. eduththu vechcha paayum.
