I came across this offical movie site of Laysa Laysa... never heard of this movie by Priyadarshan. trailors are avaiable. it says casettes too but dunno where.

  hey guys songs out ..but the movie will be out ...no way the producer went bankrupcy ....bec he got financially damaged by a hindi movie...the movies shooting has been stopped...

  AR music? are you kidding me??? You all remember the 'SHY GUY' song... the english one? one of the lessa lessa song is a copy of shy guy... *slaps forehead*
  
  and the other lessa lessa one is not bad... it had the 'oru paarvai paar' music in the middle... kinda ticked me off cuz i have a soft spot for that song... bah... both stink

  Everyone knows its Shyguy duh! Even HJ is aware ppl will know it. Its not for best original hit. Good matching background beat fo an english song. Who cares? its good

  the second song is a remix version of the first one. Its not a copy of shy guy. shy guy has already been copied by DEVA. Just becoz some one has the bit " mercy mercy" the song doesn't become a shy guy copy...GROW up guys. The single laysa laysa is very catchy and is sure to be a hit.
  the release of "singles" is a very popular concept in the west andgood to see someone trying that, but really not sure it will work out unless its priced at something like 5 bucks for a cassette or so.

  Overall the album is quite refreshing. Whatever criticism this thread gives to it, it will be a mega hit album among youngsters because of the peppy beats throughout.
  
  Ilamai ilamai, inimai - the entire song is loosely based on 'Mottavizhndhu sila pookal oru metteduthu isai paada' from Uzhavan. Both are good IMO, and the latest one is even more refined. (Tamil has to be delivered in a stylish way if the songs have to click!!! )
  
  Aval ulaga azhagiyey - mixture of 'Kala kalavena pozhiyum pozhiyum, and Nadhiyey nadhiyey' . Quite refreshing tune.
  
  What is more catchy than all of the above is 'Mudhal mudhalaai oru melliya urchaagam', In contrary to what a friend has mentioned here, the girl's voice in the 1st stanza is just lifting the song to great heights, on repeated listening. You feel like jumping in joy when you listen to this song.
  
  HJ is a definite threat to ARRehman, if he continues to show this much of silence (afterall, Bombay Dreams is not at all impressive, and Baba.... oh God!). Where is the ARR of Minsarakanavu?

  Sriram.. you are right.. this is the price one has to pay for the slowness and dumbness in composing.. The "theory" resembling by some people are baseless.. I listened.. it has no iota of resemblance.. it is just a mental satisfaction they derive by accusing HJ... No song became as popular as Vaseegara in the last 5 years.. Wherever you go "Vaseegara" song.. The thing is ARR is not threatening anybody.. He composes 3 or 4 movies every year out of 100 movies made.. He has never threatened anybody.. He has recycled his music as much as possible.. His "experiments with music" in Baba became a disaster.. Considering the fact HJ is a much better BGM scorer(ex. Minnale, 12B)than ARR, ARR will be tossed away by everybody in TFM pretty soon. Even those 3 or 4 will be reduced to 1 or 2.. Sure HJ is here to stay.. When MD of Deva's calibre could last as long as it did, HJ should stay longer than him..

  Quite true, Awe. HJ's BG scores are far more impressive than ARR. (Afterall HJ would have learned being with ARR where he could click better than him if he has to do it alone). I was mesmerized with the BG scores of 12B even more than Minnale. 'Oru paarvai paar'.. and the music whenever the 2nd Shaam sees Jyothika, whenever Simran sees 1st Shaam, etc. Minnaley's climax score 'Poopol poopol enn nenjai koidhavall'.. gave so much of weightage.
  
  HJ has an excellent taste in carnatic music and is caught inbetween Raja and Rehman. The arabic tunes which ARR used to use in every single movie putting you to boredom at a point, is cleverly avoided by this man.
  
  'Oru nadhi, oru pournami' from Samurai, is a very complicated song and I thought it was one of his best.
  
  Well, let me not deviate. In short, I agree with you that HJ is here to stay. I sincerely wish that ARR takes up some more projects soon and keeps people like Sirpy, SAR and Deva away.

  You have 'mookudaipattu' to me several times on bashing ARR so keep it down. What do u mean by 'When ARR could stay this long WHy not HJ'? ARR is the senior and leader to HJ always! You sound like mentally affected. Ramki didnt even bring ARR and u bring and bash him. Go get some help.

  Kum_laden and Ayo Patikkitchu are another two patients escaped from A.R.Rahman mana noi maruthavamanai. With third rate music like baba music, alli arjuna music ARR should be falling on the feet of Harris Jayaraj. So don't come out with "vai savadals" morons. I know you ARR fans are jealous of so many MDs. Indha rateil ponal they will start being jealous of Deva, Sirpy.
  His copy techniques were exposed by all the magazines..... Ippadi edavadhu kathiyavadhu aruthal adanjukkangada... sundakka pasangala..
