Sometimes we like songs because of good music, sometimes because of good lyrics and sometimes because of both good music and lyrics. I would like to have one discussion group in which requests for such songs can be made. If available webmasters can upload them to their site. So, I would like to invite you to participate in bringing out such nice songs to the web.

Hi Vels

Would you by any chance have the songs of 'Azhagan' and 'Jathimalli'? They are wonderful and it would be great if you could upload them in your site, because I have been to a lot of TFM sites and they don't have these songs.

The quality of 'kannukum' song is much better and IMO, this is the best upload in recent times in your site.

'naan thaanda ippo' song took me back 15 years or so. I vaguely rememeber humming this song as a kid.

Thanx once again for digging out these songs, especially the former one. its comparable to raaja raaja chozhan.

also if u listen carefully, 'nann thaanda ippo' song has exactly the same beat as 'melur maaman' from makkal aatchi sung by chithra which is there in Rex's mp3 section.

A request...on your site you have a song from 'Vedam Pudhidu'. I have heard that the music is a hit. Are there any other good songs from that movie that you can upload? I have not watched it.

The famous song from Vedam Pudidhu, is "Kannukkul Nooru Nilava Idhu oru Kanava...". I am not aware of any other song as famous as this one.

i took the opportunity to listen to udhayam varugindrathe (from kavikkuyil) after almost two decades! The tune captivates ones mind in such a way that it creates a feeling as if she(sridevi?) is lost in a place of nowhere , the shenoy and violins add kinda downcast and eerie mood. The use of xylaphone percussions for some portions of pallavi is a hallmark of IR's creativity! The preluding folk piece is an amazing one and sounds so natural of village.
