New Page for Rare Hits of Ilayaraaja

I have put up a new webpage with rare hits collection of Maestro Ilayaraaja. I will try to put those songs that are either not commonly found nor available in other TFM pages. Please visit:

  I have just recorded a cassette for you. Here is an incomplete list. There are some mystical songs like Adhikal Nerame (what a song!):
  
  1. Aavaram poovukkal thevarama, etc.. Archanai Pookkal
  2. Poo Theyne vaa from Anbulla Rajanikanth has a very fascinating prelude
  3. Both Aaradhani songs
  4. Nilavu Neram, Iravu Kanum, Vaaniley ...( Annai Oru Aaalayam P Susheela) a dramatic tune and interludes
  5. O Nenjame idhu un raagame (completely riveting orchestra)
  6. O maaya, O maaya (IR's same film, Enakkagu Kkathiru)
  7. Theyn Sumanda Mullai thaana (SPB)
  8. Vaanam Mele Vandhal Yenna (Thoonghathe Thambi Thoongathey) third interlude has been intelligently edited at the chorus because the song is too long.
  
  9. Malaragaliley Aaaradhani (MV and SJ)
  
  10. Nadi Oram (Annai Oru Aaalayam) complete prelude.
  
  11. Nandavanathil Nindra Mayile (same film)
  
  The audio quality may not be to your standards, but give it a hearing and see which you want to field!

  Your page definitely deserves the title "Rare Hits" as I know how I struggled to find the song
  from Manjal Nila right in my Home town (Madurai).
  Also, the 'Adhi Kalai Nerame" from Meendum Oru
  Kadhal Kadhai. Maan! this song was one of my all
  time favorite.
  
  Other songs I would like to be included :
  Manjal Veyil - Nandu
  Adhikalai Subavelai - Natpu
  Theertha Karai Thanile - Thai Pongal
  Etho Ninaivugal - Agal Vilakku
  Santha Kavithaigal - Metti.
  
  There was one movie called 'Panjami' (by Balu Mahendra) which had good songs. The film never got released. Any of you remember the songs. I remember one song 'Malai veyil padum sindu sindhu'
  by MV. There was one other song by PS. Hmm! Takes
  me to good old days of 'Ilangai Oliparappu Kootusthabanam4'...

  Thanks for honoring my request.. I 'll send a detailed feedback this evening,
  
  YES ! Paatenge song from poovizhi vaasilie is absolute answer to people who say that IR cannot do catchy beatsy songs.. He has done that way back in 1984 and is better even today than many "tecnological" songs ;-). Take a good listen at the interlude when he merges the chorus humming and beats and mixes with the song !! Fantastic !

  Thanks but Your appreciation rightfully belongs to Rex, who, not me, has been instrumental in getting this page up. I am just a 'user' like you :).
  Anyway, I suppose I have been so vocal about my love for Raja's music that I am getting credit even where it isn't due... I shouldnt complain, I suppose:).   theme and a song from 'tik tik tik'. But real
  player couldn't play them as their links are not
  the right one. It was trying to connect

  Kottu Melangalis one of my all time fav's. chitra has done a fabulous Job !! But I like Swarna in Malaiyil Yaaro..
  
  One of the reasons it went unnoticed is that it is missing in the movie.. ( not to add the fact that the movie was a real trash.)

  MPR:
  
  All the songs (including Punnagai Mannan theme and TIC TIC TIC) are working fine. There is nothing wrong with the ram files.
  
  Even now I tested the links and am constantly (randomly) testing all the links, periodically to avoid such messy situations.
  
  I think the problems you are encountering might be due to net congestion. As I have suggested in my page: if that happens, try clicking the same link again (say 2 or 3 times). If the problem still persists, visit the link sometime later.
  
  As far as the links are concerned-- they are perfectly working.
