Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy can be brought to TFM

Remember the Music Director trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, the music directors of Kamal Hassan's Alavandhaan. They seem to be missing in the Tamil scene for the last 2 years and they are doing really good in the Hindi field. They have given solid musical hits in Hindi such as; Mission Kashmir, Dil Chahtha Hai. I think they can be brought to the Tamil films again. I feel they are definitely better than Deva and a few others. I think they are the best as far as Hindi Film Music goes after A R Rahman.

I would like healthy comments who listen to Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and have a fair knowledge of Hindi Film Industry.

  You have started admitting that you love certain things which are not purely southish. It is a good sign. Keep the trend going.
  
  But, still you have some more miles to go. Please stop this "hate" business. Why do you hate something? If you do not like something, why do you have to hate it? Yes, sometimes less qulity films get appreciated more and high quality films are not appreciated. So, should we hate them? Rather feel sorry that people still are not educated enough. Yes, so actresses like Madhuri and Aishwariya are our number ones. And actresses like Manisha and Kajol do not get their recognitions. Kajol herself does not understand her own potential. So, why we blame others?
  
  You are still talking about South India being a separate country. Yes, in Education and IT, you may be ahead of others. But who will protect you if a foreign enemy attacks? Our knowledgeable brother Tapan has pointed this out rightly. Except Education and IT, there are so many other things for which you will have to depend on the other parts of the country. Try to understand that. Why do we study History? To understand the value of Ektaa and Akhandataa. Our filthy politicians have made these two words cliche. But you can not ignore their values. Why right from Alexander, there were so many attackers? Because we did not have this Ektaa. Why we do not have our Mayur Singhaasan and Kohinoor? Because we did not have Ektaa. Why the British ruled us for 190 years? Beacuse we did not have Ektaa.
  
  So, getting broken up into lots of states like Russia is no solution. Now, see in Olympics, Russia does not even get the second position. Why? Beacuse they could not maintain their Ektaa. Yes, all the regions in India should make their voices heard. But terrorism, killing innocent people or getting separated are no solutions. We have to find out constructive ways.
  
  Now, let me come to the language aspect. Yes, you do need a link language. Your guess is wrong. Most of the north-indian uneducated people do not understand English. But they understand Hindi. Because Hindi is their language. So, why they bother about English? Reviving an almost dead language like Sanskrit is an uphill task. Do you know that before Hindi was fixed up as the Rajbhasha, there was vote? The main competitor was Hindusthani which is more close to Urdu. Had Hindusthani been our Rajbhasha, I think the South Indians would have more problems. So, what has happened is for our better only.
  
  I once again request you to stop hating. Create love for all. Think constructively. Remember the lessons that History teaches us.

  It means that you only listen to the accompanying music when you listen to a song. You judge a song by its accompanying music. You can not appreciate the voice magic. Voices are so unimportant to you!! What will you do if certain song has no accompanying music at all?

  I type these many posts because I have points to make. I have god arguments to support my seemingly off view of a seperate country for the south.

  i am willing to quit the discussion as long as I dont see any Kumar Sanu post! The Kumar Sanu centered discussion weren't any good either.
  
  I recommend a very simple solution. Start another thread to discuss Kumar Sanu's songs in Tamil. I am sure nobody wants to discuss Tamil music here so let them use forumhub.com(a similar discussion forum) and open a thread to discuss Kumar Sanu's music.

  somu let me explain the chronology of events
  
  1. The Kumar Sanu fight.
  2. Ehsaan was harassed becos he refused to absolutely acknowledge Kumar Sanu is great
  3. Ehsaan said lets quit Kumar Sanu topic.
  4. Kumar Sanu related emails still started flinging.
  5. I requested members to stop bringing in Kumar Sanu.
  6. I was accused of not respecting "great" Kumar Sanu.
  7. I said i dont like Kumar Sanu and Hindi songs/films in particular since they are rip-offs from tamil.
  8. Dilwala refered to me as a terrorist who wants to divide India. All that just for me disliking (hating) hindi films/songs/MDs.
  9. I retorted in the same tone saying "by principle" I wishe south was a seperate country.
  9. All this was done w/out referring to violence.
  11. Dilwala termed me and my tamil people as born -killers.
  12. Naturally I defended LTTE and rubbished the violent attitude of North Poiliticos.
  13. Some one named Kavita came in and said dravidians were inferior to Aryans (the first outright racist comment!)
  14. Everything went topsy turvy and I started justifying why I hate Hindi films songs and films(they are rip offs of tami l original).
  15. Fortunately somewhere down the line Dilwala started bringing in some sensible bottom line arguments regarding language
  16. I wish to debate and learn more abt this language problem. But you request us to stop this. I am willing to if Kumar Sanu is not brought in again.
  
  
  
  Now in all the above events I have not said a single derogatory statement about North Indians as such. I have only poo-poohed North indian politics, inefficiency, languor in development, unoriginal movies/songs, step-motherly attitude towards south .

  I am a bit surprised not to get your response yet.
  
  Let me clarify certain things here.
  (1)It is true that Kumar Sanu topic was braught in all on a sudden. Actually, Kumar Sanu fans can not see Kumar Sanu being neglected films after films. Since Ehsaan visits this forum, they took the opportunity to request him to use Kumar Sanu. Because Kumar Sanu has a golden voice and SEL have all the promises to become legends. So, their combo will be superb.
  (2)Ehsaan should have reacted more sympathetically. Since he did not do that, Kumar Sanu fans lost their cool.
  (3)You not only requested to stop Kumar Sanu topic, but also abused Kumar Sanu and his fans. You expressed your hatred for Hindi films and Hindi Music.
  (4)Seeing your hatred, I identified you with the terrorists who have similar hatred.
  (5)You then admitted that you want a separate India. This reflected the mentality of the terrorists who kill the politicians and the innocent people.
  (6) Then, I called those section of people from your states born-killers who have such mentality. Mind you, I have never said that all Tamils or all South Indians are like that. You should read my message carefully.
  (6)Then you started abusing the North Indian people and many other people joined the arguments without understanding the need of unity of India.
  (7)Then, I explained that without knowing about other culture, you can not claim yourself to be superior.
  (7)Then, you started arguing that South Indians remained neglected while the Hindi-related things get hyped up.
  (8)I explained to you that this is not only true for South Indians but also for other regions.
  (9)Then you again started arguing for separate country because of this negligence.
  (10)Finally I explained the need for unity and ill effects of being separated. I also explained that we should make our voices heard in a more constructive way.
  
  Thereafter, I have not seen your replies. Hope my arguments are acceptable to you. If so, please admit that. No harm in admitting that. My respect will increase for you. I already have some respect for you that you have stopped using the abusive languages. So, please, come up!!
