Hi musiclovers!!!

newtfmpage has been a nice place for people to share what they know with each other. Many people help you with what you want and become your pals.

But how many of these faces have you seen?

How many have you met in person?

How many have you atleast spoken to over phone?

How many have you chat with on a Messenger?

How many have you atleast mailed?!

Get-togethers happen every now and then. I can see people shaking their heads violently in disagreement, but they do happen! Atleast ONE major get-together has happened to my knowledge.

  Idhu konjam important meet-naala elaborate panni irukkaen...bore adicha...mm...onnum panna mudiyaadhu..padichu dhaan aaganum! :-D
  
  As I said earlier there was a big confusion on Saturday, thalaiya pichukkara alavukku - OISG-ku phone panna avar out of country, next week dhaan coming to Chennai-nu sollitaangala, enakku onnum puriyala! Since that was his brother's residence I assumed it was his brother who gave me the news!
  
  Sunday early morning, around 8:30 am that is (!), I got a call from OISG. Romba early time-ngarthaala naan innum bed-la porandukittu irundhaen! :-) Pesina matter idhudhaan...
  C~P : Hello
  OISG : May i speak to Praveen.
  C~P : Sollunga, eppadi irukeenga?
  OISG : Idhu naandhaan eppadi kandupudicheenga?
  C~P : Illa naethiye unga number vaanginaen Saravanan kitterundhu, call panninaen, neenga out of country-nu sonaangaley, thideernu eppadi vandheenga?!
  OISG : Illa, adhu vaera. En paer vechu en family-la niraya paeru irukaanga, adhu vaera yaaro!

  I then messaged Ferrari, Maverick, LLD and Magix asking if they would be free at aroun 11:30 on that day. LLD unfortunately busy! Ivalo naal free-a irundhathukku saerthu vechu busy-a irukkaru ippellam! (Aaana naethi call panni photos kaettar! :-)). Ferrari intially said that it was a bit difficult, aana edho solli solli manushan vandhu saerndhaar! Maverick and Magix said they could make it.
  
  Idhula innoru comedy. After OISG called up and confirmed the timings - 11:30, i sent a message to these people - "Meet 11:30 to 12:30" appadinu. Idhula Maverick mattum asathura maadhiri oru reply - "12:30 is fine, i will be there" appadinu!! Onnum puriyala enakku.... 11:30 to 12:30 meet-na 12:30-ku ill be there nu solreengaley-nu kaettaen!! Message-a thappa padichutaaraam, meet timings changed from 11:30 to 12:30 appadinu :-)
  
  Seri, eppadiyo i was all ready to go for the meet. Ferrari and Maverick said that they'll be a bit late.

  Vandi park pannittu vandha for a moment I couldn't spot OISG! I had seen his pic earlier, but suththu vattarathula endha moonjiyum familiar-a therila enakku! ... andha jaadaiyoda oruththar irundhar, avara uththu uththu paarthaen, avar sirichaar...mudhal-la vaera yaaro namma uththu paarkarthunaala sirikkaraangalo thonichu (!) aana oru alavukku recognise panna mudinjuthu :-) Anga poi hi how are u ellam sollarthukulla Magix also arrived. Naanga rendu paerum "pesinom" avarkitta. Enna ivalo silent-a irukeenga, newtfmpage-la irukkarthukkum idhukkum sammandhamey illiye-nu kaettaru! Enna solla, naerla naanga appadi dhaan-nu sollittaen :-D
  
  We then went inside the restaurant and maela AC hall-la poi okarndhom. This is no place where we can just sit for sometime and then order after like 30 mins or so, thurathiduvaan! So edho menu card-a paarthuttu irundhom. First thing OISG asked me was, "How do u manage so much time?" :-) ... I told him neenga kannu vechu vechu dhaan ninaikkaraen, computer on panni 4-5 days aachu! Enna oru change-la, I never thought I'll post once in a while in newtfmpage...once in a while post panna appuram naan enna C~P! :-) ... Maverick called up and asked where we were. Maverick and Ferrari arrived soon, so soon that we hadn't even thought of our orders yet! :-D
  Maverick was wearing a karuppu Maverick sattai (idhukkagavey avara adhoda photo eduthaen!) and Ferrari came like a sportsman with a vellai sattai. OISG-a konja neram question panninom, avar engaendhu varaar-nu : Saarjaah-ba, AbuDhubai-a, Begreen-a nu kaetuttu irundhom! Ferrari and Maverick said they expected him to come in pattu veshti and jibba, but ivar Jeans and Shirt poattadhula oru surprise! Maverick asked him if there really was a Vivekanandar theru in Dubai :-) Appuram some general talks about Dubai life.

  We spoke a bit about TFM and newtfmpage this time around. OISG vandhum pesala-na eppadi, adhaan edho engalaala mudinjadhu! :-)
  
  Bollywood Vs Kollywood thread-la yaen Vishamus ippo missing-nu kaettom. India-la irukkara boss-ku ippo avar thondu senjuttu irukkaraam! Andha NRGG and all those asterix stuff formed a part of our talks. The funny part was that the term Vishamus coined - NRGG has taken a different form now it seems...suththi suththi meaning-ey maari poachaam! Reena Rathuri oru naal kattina pudavaiyoda Delhi-la irundhu odi vara poraanga-nu sonnaru!
  
  We then started talking about how stupid IR vs ARR fights in the forum were. Be it ambleen who just says the same thing again and again or SPM who always wants IR to live long lah etc etc :-) BBC Poll ARR Vs IR semma comedy-a irundhuchu, semma sandai, OISG said it just became a matter of who writes better Java Scripts :-)
  
  He said things at newtfmpage were worse earlier and only after Saravanan came in people have started to appreciate any good music! Idhukku appuram he was all praises for Saravanan. Those who have read his "I Met Saravanan" write-ups would get a better picture of what I am talking about! :-) OISG-ey periya thillalangadi TFM poruththa varai-la, Saravanan manushaney illa! :-D Ofcourse Since I've met Saravanan I know he really is manushan and no computer! But eppadi ivalo memory-nu onnum puriyala yaarukkum - practically anything about TFM and he'll answer - computer-ey space illama crash aagum, aana ivar edhayum marakka maataar! :-) Idhu thavira Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai-la endha idam paththi kaettalum map poattu kodupparu...pudhira puni..chi...puriyaadha pudhir! :-D 1500 cassettes irukkam avar rack-la, evalo periya rack-u! And it seems he can spot any song in seconds!! Any recording place in Chennai and he'll let u know-vaam! Avarukku endha endha topics ellam nalla theriyum-nu kooda enakku marandhu poachu!!! :-) Idhellam solli mudicha enakku Boys pada Senthil dhaan gnabagam vandhaar - Inparmation is Wealth!
  
  Once OISG did not know about some song it seems and this is what Saravanan said - "Ennanga neenga, 1951-la vandha Kaidhi padathula BalaSaraswathy paadinadhu"!! (Singer paeru seriya theriyala, adhu maadhiri dhaan edho varum...marandhu poachu! :-D) OISG was like "1951-la Kaidhi-nu padam vandhuchu-nae theriyaadhu, adhula BalaSarawathy paadinathu ellam enakku eppadi theriyum?" I am sure ther would have been so many such incidents...! I saw Saravanan's article about G.K.Venkatesh and enakku thalaiye suththi poachu. I din even know there was such a MD!! I told this to OISG and he said, "Idhu mattum Saravanan kitta sollidaadheenga, avalodhaan, doo vittiduvaaru" :-)

  OISG-a konjam LOTD pakkam ellam vara sonnom. Yaena anga dhaan Ferrari-um naanum nalla pasanga! :-D Aana sila samayam comedy-a irukkum...busy-a irukkarchae lyrics cut and paste panni MD, Singer, Lyricist ellamthukkum question marks potuttu poiduvaaru and adhayum Saravanan dhaan vandhu fill pannanum :-)

  For some reason we also talked about Gemini Ganesan, dun remember! Ferrari mentioned something about Gemini and Magix was talking "O Podu"!! :-)) Appo dhaan OISG said, "Avar ivalo naal uyiroda irukkarthae thaali bhaagyam dhaan, ekkachakkama katti irukkar"! :-))
  
  OISG then asked what had happened to "Anniyan" after appreciating "Aayitha Ezhuthu", but ennalayum busy-a irukka mudiyumnu busy-a irukkaen, yaaro kannu vechutaanga! :-)
  
  "Naan manmathan thread-la oru joke sonnaen, adhu yaen yaarumae recieve pannala"-nu kaettaru OISG. Enna-nu kaettom..."Simbhu romba daring, indha chinna vayasulaye Manmadhan-nu oru negative character panraan-nu post pannaen, yaarum recieve pannalaye"-nu sonnar. Ferrari thirumba romba serious-a, "Appadiya? Negative character-a enna?"-nu kaettaru!!! :-))
  
  SOTD-la OISG post panna sila msgs comparing somebody's dance movements to AbdulQadir's bowling action and about Kamal's tight pants - "Thechuttu poataana, illana nikka vechu thecaangala" brought some laughter :-)
  
  I dont exactly remember what we talked about so many DFers, but we did talk something about each of these people - LLD, Prabhu, GCT_Kuil, RS, Paran, Nisha, Raj, raj, SL, bb, MS, SK, Ambleen, SPM, Vijay etc etc.
  
  All this happened in like 1 hours. OISG had to leave soon. So keezha poi we talked for like 5-10 mins. The main topic of discussion were Telugu Films. I don't exactly know how this cropped up but we had some nice fun. OISg used to watch lotsa Telugu films it seems and he wondered how they totally defied logic! There was one film in which the villain shoots at the hero and nothing happens to the hero, eppadi-nu villain kaetta hero sonnaraam "naan un bullet ellam suttuttaen"!! :-)) Idhu poraadhu-nu Telugu cinema dance vaera! Some hero who watches the heroines step while he dances!! :-)) Ellam orey thamaashu! Ferrari mentioned about his story in which the hero has a brain tumor and in the last scene he gets shot in the head. The bullet correctly removes the tumor and comes out. OISG thought for a while and said, "Illa, idhu nambara maahiri irukku, Telugu padathula unga kadhai rejected" :-) Lesa Vijaykanth-oda Gajendra pakkam vandhom, but then that would be endless-la, so stopped with this.
  
  I then dropped OISG at his brothers residence and he was like, "Thanks for coming, velai edhaachum vituttu vandheengala"?...enakku enna sollardhu theriyala..."Ungalukku theriyaadha, enakku ennikku velai irundhirukku"-nu sollittu kelambittaen :-)
  
  Appadi...thats it...i've finally typed it out!! :-)
