  Mani Ratnam's supposed movie on Monica Lewinsky (rumored) -
  
  the possibilities :-
  
  Title : "AVAL" - adhavadhu in English "SHE" (in the tradition of MR's penchant for one word names like "Anjali","Bombay" , "Roja")
  
  If title giving were to be a collaborative effort with TRajender, then it would be
  
  "Monica En Mona Lisa"
  
  Collaborative effort with K.Baghyaraj -
  "VEllai Maaligaiyil oru chinna veedu"
  
  Advisor for Story and Screenplay - main contributor would be Gemini Ganesan (for obvious reasons!!) .G.Ganesan may as well play the title role of Billa.
  
  Music - for some strange reason - Deva !!
  IR refuses to score for the movie by politely saying in an Ananda Vikatan interview - "The story was pro-Monica Lewinsky. I know I am missing a great movie , but then I had to" and ARR refuses to score a gana song as requested by MR, since the Padaiyappa songs fiasco has made him cautious (although temporarily ) about composing Deva style songs.
  
  The movie remarkably starts with the composition of a song sung by ulagappughazh Daler Mahendi, - actually in the film, a Washington DC. cab driver ,played by ulagappughazh Daler Mahendi, cosoles Billa by singing a song along the lines of "Kavalaipadaadhey sagodharaa", after the media bashes up Billa for his extra White House activities and his wife Hillarini on a vacation in Spain is rumored to have threatened to divorce
  him.
  
  MR had to be content with this number penned by TR -
  
  "Hey macchi Billaa,
  un thalaikkey oru savaalaa,
  Hillarini aayittaalaa ujaalaa,
  unakku naanirukken kaavalaa,"
  
  DM was so impressed by Deva's spontaneity that he goes on record saying thus : " I thought S.India does not have any good musicians, until I met this genius Deva - musically if not as good as me, he comes close to being good enough to be compared with me - I plan to do an album with him - already we have decided upon the theme score , about which I won't reveal much - but it has the following sound as an integral part " Pachhak pacchak pacchak" sung in chorus rapidly "
  
  G.Ganesan while shooting for the film was so natural in his role of Billaa that Mr.Bill Clinton has acknowledged that "This man can do it BETTER than I have done it - he is an absolute natural " - already Mr.Clinton is reportedly lobbying for G.Ganesan's Oscar nomination.

  MR largely worried about the commercial outcome of the epic movie has roped in Goundamani and Senthil - Goundamani plays the role of "Trumpet Thangarasu" and Senthil is his sidekick "Drums Damodar" - while Goundamani's character portrayal is loosely based on KennyG, Senthil's is based on our own Drums Sivamani - the following scene was shot at a specially erected White House set at Kodambakkam by Thotta Tharani -
  
  Trumpet Thangarsu and Drums Damodar have been invited to entertain the Senate members at White House for a week's time - TT and DD go for a walk in the lawns -
  
  Billa's only daughter Chelvi is humming the title tune of TITANIC (the idea of TITANIC tune humming was given by Deva ) nearby.
  
  DD to TT " Anney, neenga periyya alunney" -
  
  TT "Dai, yennadaa innikku romba Scentu poosara - unna pathhi yenakku theriyundaa" -
  
  DD " Adhillaney - yenakku inga vandhadilirundhu, oru periyya doubtunney"
  
  TT stops and raises his voice "Ivan periyya Newton, Einstein paramparaiyila vandhavaru - doubtu varudhaan doubtu"
  
  DD "Yennaney, ippadi orey fussing panreenga-unga arivu jeevithhanathha manasula vacchikittuthaan naan yen doubtu pathhi sonnaen"
  
  TT obviously pleased at the above remark by DD, stops walking and shaking one leg in a carefree fashion,smacks one fist into another and says " Dai DD, unakku oru important doubting vandhadhukkaparum, yenakkum no fussing - you tell me, I will explaining" yendru avarukkey uriya urainadai Englishil solgiraar.
  
  DD - "HEE,HEE- adhu vandhu...." yendru asadu vazhindhuvittu, says something into TT's ears- the camera zooms in on TT's face with some terrific backlighting by PC Sriram - TT's face looks shocked and grinding his teeth slaps hard on DD's face.
  
  Immediately the security guards gather around TT and DD- Vice President Algoraasu (played by YG Mahendran) who is doing some pushups nearby comes running -
  
  TT - "Yen status yenna, prestige yenna - yaara paatthu yenna kelvi kettaan theriyumaa, indha Drums vaasikkira azhukku poosanikkaai - dai adheppadidaa yennai andha kelvi ketta ?" and again slaps DD
  
  Algoraasu wants to know what was it that DD asked TT.
  
  TT, "Ayyo, why everybody 'loll'ing me ? manusana peace la vudungappaa - indha Sahara palaivanathhu kozhi, yenna paatthu kettadhu podhaadhunnu, neenga vera yennaiyyaa orey kostin mela kostinaa vudureengaa" -
  
  Algoraasu with some konashtais so typical of YGM persuades TT to part with his knowledge of DD's question -
  
  "Yenbaa, andha veiyyil kolutthura Chennai maanagarathhula, savukku thoppu vettu kili maadhiri vettiyaa suthhikittirundha indha damaara Drums payala pona povudhunnu, yenkooda serthaenyaa - indha Ootty kulir maravattai , indha White House surroundingsla yenna paarthhu yenna kettaan theriyumaa ? Billavukku oru Monica maadhiri, namakku oru Chelvi - yeppadinney ? - yennyaa, naan yenna inga Trumpet oodhuvenaa, illa indha Potomac Karuvaattu vaayan kekkara kelvikkellam badhil solvenaayaa ? anju varusham munnaadi, appavey andha Naadi Josiyan yennai paarthu 'thaarai, thappattai, dabba,damaaram - idhenaala unakku oru kandam ' appadinnu Warning pannaan - ippadhaanyaa puriyudhu andha aalu sonnadhu yennannu - indha maadhiri loose talk lollu party ippadi White House muzhukku indha kelviya Damaaram adichhaa, yen pozhappu yennaiyyaa avuradhu "
  
  Then turns slowly to DD "Dai, seiyyaradhaiyyum senjittu, bayascopela Poltergeist padam paathha madhiri yendaa muzhikkirey - ingirundhu odipozhiru" and starts chasing him.
  
  A nosey reporter outside the White House bribes one of the security guards and gets the gist of the TT-DD happenings- the same evening many tabloids in Washington DC carry the following headlines "Drummer pines for the Big Billa's Chelvi" , "White House - Romantic Drums Roll for Chelvi ", "Chelvi stalls the Drummer's heart 'beat' " - next day, a local newspaper in Chennai,India carries the headline "Band vaathiyakkararin vellai maaligai kanavu" and another "White Houseil Jalsaa"

  With the worry over the commercial outcome of the film persisting , MR decides to make the movie very comic and funny - so, in comes the services of Nagaichuvai virpannars like Mouli, Crazy Mohan for boosting up the screenplay.
  A party scene is picturised in a typical White House Ball Room Ambience -
  
  Kumarimuthu is India's Ambassador for US,Mr.Munusamy, and is seen shaking hands and 'laughing' away to glory with the Senate members.....
  
  Trumpet Thangarasu is requested by the Senate to play avante-garde Indian music - and that very moment Mrs. Hillarini Billa enters the hall with her husband - and TT and DD are introduced to them by Algoraasu - Hillarini gives a morose look at TT and DD - and at that flash of moment the camera zooms in from the ceiling passes for a few moments in front of Hillarini's face and switches over to TT's face, which registers a sudden sadness as well.
  
  TT takes up the trumpet and plays a brilliant tune specially composed by Deva, with a strange combination of "Nalam Vaazha' from MARUPADIYUM and "Maalai pozhudhin mayakkathhile" ...
  
  DD while playing the drums (?!) as an accompaniment (?!!), takes notice of Chelvi and misses a few beats and TT promptly kicks him.
  
  Monica greets Mr.Munusamy, who in return gives her a trademark gaze and a laugh.
  Monica whispers into Billa's ears " I find this man's eyes and laugh very disturbing" - the nosey reporter overhears this and immediately pens down the headlines for the next morning's edition in his handbook - "The other man in Monica's life " , " Mystery ambassador with mystery eyes and eerie laugh captivates the Senate and (!!)
