I am really irritated by the daily word "Superstar Rajini's BABA is coming to break all the records"

I think you have not updated rajini news. For your information Baba has already broke several record before the release of the movies. So you don't need to say that Baba is "coming" to break all the record.

I would like to list out few records by Baba

1. It has sold more than 100 crore
2. This is the first film whereby the ticket price increased more than Rs 200
3. Reservation for audio cassette. First in indian cinema
4. First time in Tamil Nadu, whereby advance booking for baba ticket in all towns including small theater.

Ok about Rajini.. it seems to me ppl are treating him like MGR while he is building his own bank account through every step. (MGR is a great fellow which i know throw my own thalaivar V.Prabaharan )My uncle was in india when they had some celebration for rajni's 25th industrial year or something held by Latha.R and he told me how hard he makes lifes of innocent fans. Most of them couldnt get in while VIPs and big heads got in. I think you ppl are too good to be a fan of this guy.

This is an adverstisment for BABA movie by some Rajini fanatics. Can they be more pathetic than this? Once a hardcore womanizer and drunk is now preaching people how to live!!! What a shame!! It is hard to digest he has some educated followers.
Only god can save these totally insane people.
Has any of his movies made any sense? The first irritating movie i saw was "Ejaman" where he would walk and nobody would walk right behind him because they won't like to step on the soil stepped on by Ejaman. Talk about stupidity. If you apply this logic, in an years time people will have no place to walk. They would stand at where they are. Idiotic movies. Stupid fans

I am not a card carrying Rajini Fan. But think...

So what? Is that a crime to be a pucca businessman? He does not rob anyone.. He does not force any one to see his movie. he does not force any one to buy his casette. He has got a demand. So he has his price.

You know what is a crime? People who rob others saying they do good for others.

He tried to divide people in caste lines. Now he tries to divide in linguitic lines. Are we all not Indians? Why speak like Tamilian or Banglorean?

1) Ok. We are all Indians first and that is how I treat any othet person born in India.. Not as a Tamilian or kannadiga....

2) Next personally I can feel for my pleasure or liking I can be part of some culture like Tamil, Telugu, Kannada or Hindi.... That is a cultural part not a national part. I very strongly feel this need not be decided by where you have born. It should be decided by the individual and not by anyone because it is personal.

See it not where he was born but how he feels or identifies himself matters. If he identifies himself as a Tamilian he is a Tamilian.

IMHO all this talk about Tamilian, Kannadiga are for people who do not have any real issues to talk about..

Do you expect him to comment on everything that is hapening in this country? Just because he did not comment that does not mean he did not feel for them.

He just asks like a ambassador for Tamilians in Bangalore! What is wrong if Rajni says some good words about Rajkumar? Is it a bad thing to get the goodwill of Rajkumar? Does it not help Kannadigas understand that Tamilians like and respect Kannadigas. I feel we should encourage this type of cultural exchanges to promote harmony in this country.

How do you know that all his money goes to bangalore? I know Rajini does lot of good things to people of Tamil nadu too. Ok ! Wait a minute..... How Rajini spends his money is upto him... As long as he does not break any laws no one should complain.

Just because I say this I am not a self-procliamed rajini fan!. I am just saying my point of view.

You have got the right to criticize Rajini movie like Yejaman. I too hate that type of hero worship. Neverthless Rajini is a good actor. Though now he is stereotyped, his movies, mannerisms,style are lot different in the inital years and he is class apart. But anyone can criticize him for his movies but not his personal life.

But let us be fair when we comment on others personal lives. I dont think Rajini claims himself a tee-toteller. Even if hs is not that is none of anyone's problem. I am of the opinion he is a very frank and does not cover his bald head with a wig. He even smokes publicly and that means he wants people should like him for what he is and not for what he is not.

I do not think he preaches for you and me. He says whatever he says in films. It is upto us to see or not to see the movie. No one compels any one to see rajini movie.

I also like Rajini's Johnny, Arilirundu Arubadu varai.. pre 1990 movies are ok. I am talking about his efforts to say message to public through songs. I am just a movie fan. I just look at how the movie is made. It is impossible to ignore his 'stupid messages' in his movies. That's why i had to drag his personal life. I was a hardcore Rajini fan when i was in school. Oflate i am sick of seeing his stereotyped movies.
The enormous hype that his movies are getting makes me all the more sick. His comedy scenes in movies are annoying. He is not funny anymore.
Just watch Netrikkan. How effortlessly he has acted in that movie in villain role. He is a 'gone case'.
