  I have seen "perumaikuriyaval" in TV. The story is the same, we used to watch in serials, one will be like "bhoomadevi" and the other one is arrogant. dabba movie. One more song in the movie is good, "en manadhu ontru than un meethu njabagam", i think the same song is there in one more movie..

  the film perumaikkuriyaval starred Sivakumar.,Padmapriya, Fatafat Jayalakshmi and Srikanth.
  Directed by Ra.Sankaran. (later acted in many movies)
  As kalai mentioned it is about 2 sisters . Sivakumar has a handicapped brother. I think Fatafat is the arrogant sister who gets married to Sivakumar and meets with an accident. Sivakumar's brother Master Suresh dies... and the story goes on. I saw this film long back...

  the song "en manathu onRuthaan
  un meethu njaabagam"
  was initially recorded for the Sivaji-Manjula film Avan oru sariththiram. Produced by K.S.Kutralalingam for Gomathi sankar productions. Somehow the song did not appear in that film.
  The song finally made it to the screen in Perumaikkuriyaval produced by K.S.Kutralalingam. The producer later used this song in his later film Perumaikkuriyaval.
  same producer and same MD MSV.
  Some audio casettes even now mention the song in avan oru sariththiram.
  
  Whenever I listen to this song I feel it should have been in A.O.Sariththiram which had very good songs like
  
  maalaiyittaan oru mannan
  ammaanai azhagu mikum kaNmaanai

  It was the happiest moment in my Life yesterday. Yes I met PS @ her Residence & Spent more than 2 hrs . I've captured the entire visit & happenings in my handy cam too. Wow .. Adhepalli Rajagopal took me to her house . Wow she received us with her brand Smile & spoke , sang , cracked joke in b/t. Sandhya spoke to us for few secs.

  one of my Fav "Olave Jeevana Saakshakaara"
  
  wow!! she sang (it was her fav too)
  
  Then Malayalam - Raaja shilpi
  
  I told the lyrics & she continued ..
  
  Then Mrogindhi Veena (Telugu) Wow!! She sang beautifully.
  
  another mrogindhe (duet with bala)..
  
  Tamil- Oru naal iravil kann urakkam (my req)
  
  she sang other oru naal songs like oru naal yaaro
  Oru naal iravu
  
  Then I asked her to sing KAalai thendral (under IR's composition) .. she sang
  
  Reg conversation, she was showing some albums and explaining abt that.
  
  I was fortunate to have a glance @ her young age photo(3-4 yrs)..
