Time to have some more fun?
What is this lyrics potti huh?Well we have all been witnessing the hidden talents of many of our DFers in the lyrics area. So i decided why dont we
have a small competition in terms of lyrics.
What we need to do?
I will give a popular tune and explain the situation for which this particular song was written. All you have to do is come out with entirely different lyrics(but it should be apt for that particular situation).You should write atleast one pallavi and one charanam. Do not use
English words and please refrain from vulgarity(we have many kavignars in Tamil cine world for that). Whoever comes out with the best set will be
selected as the winner.(the winner will be selected on the basis of nadai, content and tamizh usage)
Who will select the winner??Its going to me(hehehe-easy job:))and Rajaraman.
The winner will be given the responsibility to chose the next tune(only the next) and situation and he will join the panel of judes(!!)to select the next winner.

  Lets start with an easy one.
  Tune : Chinna chinna aasai
  Situation: This is kind of an introduction song. We are introduced to a fun loving girl enjoying her life, nature, her village making fun of her friends and relatives.
  Make up atleast one pallavi and charanam that will suit this situation. Do not use the word ‘aasai’ :))

  thanX ramki., this was a great experience., i was able to know the problems that our lyrics makers are facing. Our case is more complicated as our 'kanni muyarchchi' of lyrics should overcome the effect of famous Original lyrics. New lyrics for 'Chinna Chinna aasai' is just unimaginable., any way here is my contribution & congrats for giving such an excellent 'Pootti'

  Hi guys im back and with results. First let me thank all of you participants for your excellent contribution. We(me and RR)had a difficult time chosing the winner as every entry was good in content and nadai. We then formed a certain scale for evaluation(based on tamil usage,content, how well the line fits the thaalam etc).When we formulated the results(individuallY)we were surprised to see that most of you were close to each other. But we did manage to find a winner(without any ties:))and the winner is...winner is..
