  Kanchana all the sings in Punnagai mannan(except
  for one by VaniJairam)was by chitra. In fact we are yet to have a Ilaiyaraja-Kbalachander-Sjanaki combination though there are number of MSV-KBalachander-SJ Combos

  Aravind there are 2 versions of pogudhe pogudhe.
  One is a solo by SPB and other bySPB andSJ(this is
  the picturised version).
  
  Im not sure abt the latest song from IR-SPB-SJ
  combo but ifim not wrong it is from Vanaja girija.
  The song is 'munnam seidha varam(or thavam)'

  Othayile ninnathenna mannavane is the
  song sung by chitra for Oorvasi.
  
  The other duet song was supposedly a tune
  IR composed for "malai koyil vaasalil"(veera)
  situation, but rejected. It seems K.R.
  liked this tune and used the track for V-Girija

  The Swarnalatha duet is 'unnai ethir paarththEn'. But as far as I can recollect, the last time the three joined was in 'muththuk kaaLai' - 'punnai vanaththuk kuyilE' and 'inthak kanjik kalayaththai'. This was in mid 1995. SJ did not sing for IR in 1996. Her only song so far in 97 is a solo from dEvathai.

  When I referenced this song under the "Pudhumai Vaarthigal/Prayogangal" thread, PG educated me that it has the IR-Vairamuthu-SPB-SJ combo. Lovely song!

  her voice is simply superb especially without music. i am always fascinated by her husky golden voice. there is no replacement for a singer like her. May God bless her with long life and good health.
