Sadhna Sargam

Sadhna Sargam is the greatest singer in Tamil films today.

She won a national award last year for a tamil song from the film "Azhagi".

She has contributed a lot to Tamil people by singing so many lovely tamil film songs.

ALL her tamil songs are VERY popular.

But there is no thread for Sadhna in this website. How unfair?

So I am starting this thread which she really really really really deserves.

Let us discuss sweet Sadhna's tamil songs here.

  yes she sings really great. I don't think she is that old. She has the NORMAL voice of a woman. She is not fake. But sujata, anuradha shriram, swarna latha, chitra, harini, bhavatharini all have shrill rat voices and thye sound like little kids, they also purposely sing at very high pitch to sound young. tamil people got used to such immature voices that is the problem.

  Sam, Sadhana is very good but I disagree that Sujatha, Chitra, Anuradha Sriram have "rat shrill voices". I think they have given the tamil film industry some great songs, some of them for som many years. Nevertheless, although Sadhana is quite new to the tamil film industry I think she will last a while and her popularity will grow.

  Sam, Sadhana is very good but I disagree that Sujatha, Chitra, Anuradha Sriram have "rat shrill voices".   okay sam...forget about all our fights...after all....WE ARE ALL INDIANS ...and we must seriously try and appreciate ALL the singers for their contributions individually....right? they are all unique singers in their special ways...paavam, avange ellaam pozhachu pogattum.......sam.....friends??? :) and lets not give any wrongs images to the 'outsiders' reagrding the unity of INDIAN CINEMA...both tamil, south indian and north indian music have their respective cultural richness with a rich history...both of it have weak points and plus points...that goes without saying......so lets stop any arguments here.....so sam...we are good friends now...n hey shreya does sing well...(to please you)..poeple who dont sing well dont get chance to sing!!

  did any one listen to sadhna's song from Chokka Thamgan. ITZ DA BEST IN DA MOVIE. all other songs killed by anuradha, sujata ,swarna latha, blah blah blah. the song is in taalam.com

  Mr/Ms SSS, yes definitely Janaki and PS or KSC have sung the Snehidhane more sweeter than Sadhana . No doubts in that.

  Sadhana is a wonderful singer no doubt, don't forget "Swasame" in Tenali, What a lovely song that is. She has completely tuned with legent SPB in that song. "Neethoongum Nerathil" (Manecellam) is such a lovely song it may another National Award to her.

  I do not agree that Sadhana does't pronounces well. It might be in her earlier songs, but now she takes lot of care to pronounce properly, in fact he is lot more better than Udit Narayanan, who kills the words.

  Even Sadhana kills tamil. You cannot understand , what she is singing. She confuses the listner.

  Sorry, Pranav that is slip in typing. I never get confused in her pronounciation, if you could point-out where exactly, I can notice. Even Jesudas can not pronounce Pillai properly, you can notice that in his "Pillai Tamil Paadukiren" song. What about het "Nee Thoongum Nerathil" in Manasellam, which is not in the movie. She has done well in that song than Hariharan's version.

  Now-a-days she is not that buzy at Hindi films, but sings a lot Tamil and most of them are hit.
  AR has introduced her in Tamil throgh "Alai Payuthe". Under IR's music she got National Award for "Pattu solli Paad solli" in Azhaki.

  Let's say she USED to kill Tamil.She has tremendously improved her accent and Anbe Anbe
  from the movie Anbe Anbe is a good example.
