To start this thread, here are the punch lines in Rajini's latest "Baba"

  It looks like baba sonnale vedikkum... , baba vai nambidu are genuine. I read that in some tamil mag
  
  All the above do look baba style dialogues to me considering stuff in his other movies as under
  
  1) arunachalam : Kadavul nallavangalukku neraya kudukamaatan ana avanga koodave iruppan, kettavangalukku neraya kuduppan ana kai vittuduvan
  
  2) Padayappa : something about kovam irukkara pombala jaichada sarithiramae kidayadhu....

  Cooli - This is most probably his last one is what industry is talking about
  
  Shoba - All the above are true. They were from the Baba script writer forwarded via email with rajini's picture in it.

  Vairamuthu is planning a trip to Europe this month to visit Switzerland and London where he has been invited give a talk on Tamil literature in two Tamil conferences.
  
  During the trip he is planning to meet A.R.Rahman, who is in London, to work on a song for the movie "Baba." One song for the movie has already been created. He will be in London from 17th of this month and plans to spend around 4-5 days with Rahman in London on another song for ``Baba'' starring Rajnikanth.

  Good article (Sify Movies). I was especially highly amused to read these lines, especially admist alot of confusion in this forum...
  
  "Meanwhile half the industry is going around saying that Rajni sir has invited them for a role. Even Anitha Ratnam the famous danseuse have said in a recent interview that she had an offer from the Baba team to play the role of Manisha’s mother! And Malayalam actress and plain Jane, Samyuktha Varma says that she was offered the heroine’s role!"
  
  Hmmm looks like according to "industry sources" Rajini is becoming more & more generous in spirit these days. All this spirituality mus be getting to him.

  Why Not: Everyone wants to be associated with Rajini so that they can become more marketable to other producers.
  The most amusing one to me was Kamal recommending Simran to Rajini. I don't know if it was one of the links above or if I read it some place else.

  Raja, I read somewhere tat the whole thing about the Japanese actress in Baba was borne out of an April Fool's prank by one of the newspapers. It seems she was jus a fan and the whole interview was bogus. Is it true? I can't remember where I read tis tho.
  
  And I agree that everyone wants to be associated with Rajini.
  Even those who dismiss his movies as masala films in the same breath.

  Hey this is unfair to other movies. The music of this movie has not been released and all the talk here is abt dialogues.It begs me to ask the Q, if it is a movie review instead of a music review
