  I used to be a part of the MBS choir in our school in Chennai. I have always enjoyed MBS Choir songs. I used to own a MBS Choir cassette sung by the original Choir group. I have lost the cassette and I am trying to find some information on where I can find his choir songs. If any of you have any information, please let me know

  Mr G. Varghese, MBS was not the music director of idanazhiyil oru kalocha.
  it was by Dakshinamoorthy and he got the credit to make singers of 3 generation sing under his baton. Augustine joseph -> yesudas -> and Vijay yesudas sang for him.
  MBS had composed over 70 films in mallu and won several state awrds and his songs in films like chillu, venal, yavanika, oppol and many others are still cherished.
  he gave the most nimber of hits for S jkanaki in mallu , after baburaj
  He set to tune ONV kurups Oru vattam koodiyen to lilting melody.
  he was preferred by middle stream , art as well as commercial film makers.
  His knowledge of karnatic ragas were impeccable.
  who can forget his hari kamboji in oppol (ettumanoorambalathil -song which got janaki a national awrd), simhendra madhyamam in ulkkadal (ente kadinjool pranaya kathayile), yamuna kalyani in ulkkadal (saradindu malar - the most famouls love song in mallu), chakravaakam i chillu (chaithram chaayam chalichu..) and many many other songs ?
  it is really pathetic tht we r not remembering his name....
