Ajay Devgan and Vivek Oberoi can’t stop raving about the songs of Mani Ratnam’s Yuva. “A.R. Rahman and Mani Sir and dynamite together,” says Vivek on the sets of Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria’s Masti, and adds, “The six songs Rahman has recorded for the film are mind-blowing.”
Ajay Devgan, his co-star in Yuva and Masti, uses the same words to describe them. Incidentally, when the film was launched earlier this year, Mani Ratnam had decided not to have a single song in it.
Vivek also feels that Abhishek Bachchan’s is the best role and best performance in the film. “That guy’s career will take off in a big way after Yuva,” predicts Vivek.

coming back to the topic, i dunt know y there is a difference in quality bet'n hindi and tamil star cast.......
look at this for a comparison: VIVEK OBEROI and SIDDHARTH......probably the worst comparison that i'll have to make in my whole life...... SIDDHARTH LOOKS NO MORE THAN VIVEK OBEROI"S WATCHMAN OR TOILET CLEANER........ he really looks like a toilet cleaner this Siddy kid......
Vivek is a bundle of energy and siddy is a bundle of SH*T.........it's an insult for ARR to compose songs for a SH*T cleaner like siddharth......

CD released in Raaga.
I recommend not buying it.
The packaging looks horrible. I mean if this is the kind of cheap stuff they throw at us and ask us to buy it in the name of supporting originals, My BIG middle finger salute to these industry people!
I will never ever buy originals again. And to compensate for my yemaatram of buying this cheap packaged CD shiit and getting insulted, I am going to rip this in 356 kbps mp3 and post it in atleast 3 places all over the net so that others wont get fooled like me!

well curses, we are already at loggerheads(me and ash).....she makes fun of maddy and i do make fun of siddy, personally i have nuthin against that kid(siddharth), but when ppl. think he is bettter than R.Madhavan then i do have a problem......and really he is of no match to another favorite of mine vivek oberoi- he is a class act.......

popped in the cd. heard the first two songs now!
Not too impressed as of now. Jana gana mana seems to be very promising. Lot of elements took me by surprise.

I bought AE from Raaga in the NJ.
It is released by Saregama.
It seems to have the IMI hologram too.
Please give me more info if you caught a better looking SOny CD released min the US for AE!
I also saw Yva cd and it was fantastically packaged with great pics. Yuvas was by Sony though

huh lol yuva is by venus sony didnt buy the rights of the hindhi version.Im waiting for sony to release it on their online store thats prolli ur best bet for gettin the sony one in the US.yeh saregama packaging is quite oridinary but they have good sound quality.when i meant u didnt buy the original i meant the one by sony.

oh ok. I am sorry Yuva was indeed by Venus. SOmehow confused the venus and sony label.
Yes Raaga had AE by Saregama and Yuva by Venus.
Yuva had very good production value in the CD. Worth the bucks. AE was like a typical last minte effort The word in english that says Aayitha Ezhuthu was probably written in MS WORD Arial font 2 minutes before the mastercopy of CD cover went for printing :)
Thats how much the effort is in the pacaging. Seriously looks like a shady CD!

I heard al the songs. Over all on first hearing I shud say three songs are awwwwwesome!!
Fanah, Janaganamana and Sanda Kozhi. WHat amazing songs. The europeanish feel in Fanaah is out of this world!!
Sanda kozhi is a surprise gem. A simple yet chord driven sweet song.
Janaganamana is a very weird but juicy song! Gotta hear it again when I get a chance.
But what the heck is that dol dol song? It is just looped cacaphony! except for that 4 second enigma like chords that come and die out. wow. ARR using such chords???? what a timbre!
Nejma ellam is pretty confusing to make an opinion out of. It sounds decent now.
Definitely one of those albums that really grow I guess.
Will come out with fully baked reviews later. Oops, did I say reviews? sorry I meant opinions

Sorry for not clarifying!
AE CDs in USA are released by Saregama and not SONY!!!!
The CD cover has a single paper in the jewel box on one side of which says Ayutha ezhuthu with a picture and the other side is blank white!
SO much for a Mani film!
Wven I can come up with better cd cover designs. Poor production values!
