  we are celebrating lord krishna's birthday as "KRISHNA JAYANTHI" and lord sankara's birthday as "SANKARA JAYANTHI". why not we celebrate our "ISAIGANI's" birthday as "ILAYARAJA JAYANTHI"

  You touched upon two of my most sensitive topics at the same time! I am touched. I used to be in admiration of a goddess in human form by name Jayanthi. It is a good feeling!!

  Anyways, all that 'bs' above (sorry, my dear friends) about IR getting back his old form should not be a part of this thread. Please.
  
  The Isaignani should be remembered simply for being there while continuing to make our daily lives happy and giving us that one reason to look forward to that evening or the weekend, when we can spend time listening to his songs. What more should we ask for. Raja is a rare creation who is always evolving and in the process he will throw up some waste like Veera Thallattu, if that is what it is since many of you claim that VT does resemble something that Waste Management Incorporated should take a look at.
  
  On a great day like this, which is as venerable to me as Krishna Jayanthi and Gandhi Jayanthi I think we should keep a minutes silence and thank Lord Rama or Lord Muruga and vow to make a visit to Sabarimalai or Tirupathi just to say O Lord Guruvayurappa Bahuuth Baahuth Danyavad for giving me ears. ( Hey, but no thank you for adding years to Raja!)
  
  Friends, this is in a lighter vein. Being a Raja fan, it has not only been the process of a widening intelligence in my greying or graying cells, but also has brought within me many cherished values, two of which are humor and contenment.
