Ajay Devgan and Vivek Oberoi can’t stop raving about the songs of Mani Ratnam’s Yuva. “A.R. Rahman and Mani Sir and dynamite together,” says Vivek on the sets of Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria’s Masti, and adds, “The six songs Rahman has recorded for the film are mind-blowing.”

Ajay Devgan, his co-star in Yuva and Masti, uses the same words to describe them. Incidentally, when the film was launched earlier this year, Mani Ratnam had decided not to have a single song in it.

Vivek also feels that Abhishek Bachchan’s is the best role and best performance in the film. “That guy’s career will take off in a big way after Yuva,” predicts Vivek.

  Now here is some breaking news. There will be three episodes to Ketan Mehta's The Rising starring Aamir Khan, Rani Mukherjee and Amisha Patel.
  
  The film revolving around the life of freedom fighter Mangal Pandey, set against the backdrop of the 1857 mutiny, will have two follow-ups films of 100 minutes each. The first follow-up will focus on the last Moghul Emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar while the second is woven around the queen of Jhansi - Rani Laxmi Bai.
  
  These films would be a continuation in showcasing the fight for Indian independence against the British government.

  Take Boys for example. The movie was out on Aug 29. The Vcd was out late October. I juz couldn't wait to see such a blockbuster hit by S-ARR combo (un4tunately it is not considered one) and juz went to call up Oli's M3(2 weeks aft release), they said it would be out next month.
