I am glad I bought the cassette of E20 U18, when I was in India recently. One of my favorite songs in the album is the Sandhipoma song, which brings me back to the Jeans movie days. A beautiful, beautiful, song that I have heard and relished in recent times. The beauty of the song is that it is instantly catchy, infectious, and lingers in the mind long after the song has been heard (all IMO).
Oru spoon-i veithu ice cream-i
paadhi paadhi thingalaam, eppada?
followed by "wow wow wooow" is supreme.
In the same way
Unnai petra podhu
annai konda vedhanai tharugiraai
followed by "wow wow wooow" is supreme.
The other melody that goes yedho yedho ondru is superb too. More about that later. Let me bask in the pleasantness of the sandhipoma song for some time.

On the Sandhipoma song,
Mudhal murai kaadhal bayam
illai idhayathilE
followed by the second interlude is lovely. More power to ARR for composing more such magic in the future.

C~P: Avasarapatta eppadi? :) Yes, I have listened to KKS and I liked four songs (except Aaha thamizhamma which is OK). I liked cindrella the first time I heard it. More comments after I listen to them a few more times.

When you said I have been in rsc since 1998, I thought it must be someone else, because I assumed that you already knew that I am devoted to rsc. Oray confusion than po :) How many more nicks do you have here? (apart from "*", "Nane than", that is)

Let me guess: Kumudam said the song that goes "chinna veeda varattuma periya veeda varattuma mEsthirikku .." is superb. Kumudam must also have had great words of praise for "ah ah thimusu katta ah ah thimusu katta". Just wondering.

Naushad,SEL,All SIngers, Yuvan ,Vidyasgar, Dheena,BharadWaj,Lata Mangeshwar ,Bala Murali Krishna everybody has parised him ,but still he makes this comment keeping Anu MAlik ,NAdeem-SHravan in mind .

ARR's favourite song is "chinguchcha chinguchcha" from Bharathi kanamma by none other than deva, hahahaha, I think I have a better taste. ;-))
My point is when kumudam writes him high, people will go gaga over it and the same magazine is criticized while expressing different opinion.
Bottomline: ARR is going down!

Whatz up with you!!, cant you leave ppl to love the music they want!!
In my opinion.. lack of attention to specific music industry (like TFM) is != going down.. ARR recent albums are doing pretty good in musical quality.. i dont care abt sales.. KKS is one good complete album..
