Harish Raghavandra OR T K Karthik-Who is shining in TFM

It has been seen that singers Harish Raghavendra and Karthik are both upcoming singers and both have a reached great heights at a very early stage of their career.

The year 2001 did a lot for Harish Raghavendra, while last year 2002 did a lot for T K Karthik. Though Karthik's career began in 2001, he was the most sought singers in 2002. T K Karthik had 27 songs to his credit last year and I am not sure about Harish Raghavendra.

Karthik has worked with all the music directors in Tamil and Telugu; like A R Rahman, Harris Jayaraj, Deva, Bharadwaj, Vidhyasagar, Mani Sharma, Parasuram Radha, D Immaan, M M Kreem, Yuvan Shankar Raaja, Ilayaraaja, Karthik Raaja, S A Rajkumar and many many more and has also sung in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and also two songs in Hindi for A R Rahman.
(Remember that Asha Bhonsle song in Saathiya and one in The Legend of Bhagat Singh). Karthik has reached great heights.

Harish Raghavendra has not worked with A R Rahman and Deva and also many more music directors. But he is also very good and I like both the singers very well.

Who will excell this year?

  Well... both are excellent young singers. Each with a unique voice and different style of delivery. As much as i like Harish's songs and voice, I'd vote for Karthik to shine in 2003.

  both have good voices, and are good in delivery , expressons and all the other songs,

  Harish Raghavendra is better in all aspects like pitching,words clarity,feeling and versatality and high range too.He is qualitative singer like PBS ,AM Raja of those days and not quanitative like Karthik.

  actually, we think that harish is better than karthik because he has more experience in the singing field rather than karthik. but we are not saying that karthik isnt good. he is good in his own way. the perfomance in melbourne by both the artists, was really fantastic. so we wish them both best lucks. and we hope harish wins.   no doubt karthik is my choice.he has brought a new mix in tamil film music.he has sung for all MD as already said more over he has sung in all situations from jovial to somber, which no other singer of the present day had done.he can change his voice as per the theme and that to me is very impressive.he no doubt will be the next SPB.what ore he is the most sought for Illayaraja and ARR

  pls guys harish career was destroyed by deva ok
  before barathi, harish sang bout 10 songs 4 deva
  all were superb superb flop. Hey ilaya nilave pothum unathu kanave - a mohan's movies with music by deva sucks but after barathi this guys seems to be careful with his songs very versalite ? as for karthick doing quite well but guess he gonna make the same mistake hari made sing a the songs without maintaining quality. guys singer are like hot and spicy these day there was hari, unni kris, unni menon, shankar, srinivas, devan, haris, kartick, tippu how long one can stand and sing. must be one to four year than gone with wind? SPB and KJ Jes i still consider the great and musician are still after them for sung coz these new guys can sing like them.   Both these guys are talented and doing very well.Harish is a qualitative singer and has limited numbers coming out always but amazingly 99 percent of his songs become repectable and significant hits in contrast to Karthik whose song is seen in all albums and most of them go unnoticed.
  Harish's tamil pronounciation and voice range are better than Karthiks.Karthik has good lower range but has an artificial tone while rendering like singer Mano.

  mr arjun ur supporting hr for what there is no point in supporting hr b'coz he has already left the tfm for acting he could'nt compete with the new singers like TIPPU,KARTHIK,KK,& OTHER TALENTED singers tippu has sung the maximum of 49 songs in 2002,karthick has done 29,kk has done 11, shankar mahadevan 19,hh 15 others not even 5 songs each inthat harish has done only 8songs so thats the difference between the karthk & harish so the top 2 r only tippu & karthik hr is not in the singers list any more.the above mentioned list was there in the top daily english news paper check it out

  Though Karthik has sung in a number of languages, it seems Harish too will be getting fair number of opportunities in other langs too, thats what his girlfriend revealed in some magazine recently.

  HR is good for semi classical..Karthik has got a manly majestic voice..Both HR and Karthik are good.. Karthik could be the next SPB..but dunno whether he can sing classical like SPB..
  
  HR was totally fabulous with nipadhuve nadapathuve song in Bharathi..
