Udhayaaaaaaaaaaaaa whennnnnnnnnn?

For god sake,when is udayaa releasing.......i thought it would release 2 months back but what happened?Anyone got any idea???????????/

  That's exactly what happened to me!
  Now i'm finding it difficult to get the tunes outta my head!!
  pookum malar is an MGR kinda song.. but it's quite gud on the second hearing.
  Udaya udaya has grown on me the slowest but it's clinging on like mad!! I jus love the way Sadhana says "Kadhal" with all those gamagams! :)
  Thiruvalli Keni Rani. to put it in one word "MINDBLOWING!".
  Long time since Rahman came w/ such a song.
  It's such a fusion between dapanuthu, arabic and overall aesthetic fun!! :) (there are classical veena interludes!!)
  Enna Enna... hmmm. Does begin like "poo pookum maasam thai maasam" and carries on w/ a strong IR flavour. But once Shankar starts his stuff there's no stopping him!
  Anjanam.. I almost spat out the water i was drinking when i heard it the 1st time. I thot the tape was defective.. but when Janaki comes along u know Rahman's tried sumthin different! The 2nd time i heard it i found it cute.. and Now it's one of my favs in the album AFTER THIRUVALLI KENI! :)

  On my first listening, I was impressed with 'pookum malargalai' and 'enna enna'... 'Thiruvallikeni rani' & udaya udaya were decent and i dont know whether I might like it or not... i didnt like anjanam at all.. It sounded like that fast song from Ashokan...
  Overall, the album is decent and definitely worth a try.. Another thing is that the quality of songs posted in the internet is so horrible and judging the songs based on that is improper...

  I think Udhaya's problem is that, the songs do feel kinda old. But i feel 'udaya udaya' is a nice one and a worthy vijay movie song. You have heard ones like 'Thiru...Rani' before so it does feel new at all. But thank goodness, Rahman did not recycle old tunes. But the album is decent and probably a bit better than kadhal virus. But the music will surely be trashed and called 'the worst' if the movie flops.
  
  If the movie becomes a hit, people generally take note of the songs as well. Overall, a decent above average effort by Rahman, not mindblowing by any standards, because there is just one memorable song, whereas an album needs 3-4 memorable songs to be called mindblowing.
  
  I feel arr is moving back to the stage between 'Indian' and kadhalar dhinam when his music was considered 'sumaar'. He needs to come up with more movies to be accepted.

  udaya is actually done 3 years back as pramis nadarajan and i are met in a fight,he didn release it.and now he had released.its not my fault my fans.....please give me a chance,i will make boy songs a super hit......the movie is contain 10 bit songs.....it will release in 14.04.2003 by me in chennai anna arivalayam infront of mr karunanithi the ex cm of tamilnadu

  udaya songs sound old and different. but it doesnt appeal on first hearing n also, it doesnt create any feelt o hear it again. the worst song of this album is the song sung by spb n janaki.
  
  in total, a diff try but nt an appealing one.
  
  may b it wud b better for ARR to have keep having some charity shows in the name mahesh, ramesh, suresh etc etc n enjoy his life.
  
  IMO, of late, the songs composed by recycling kings like deva, sirpi, sa rajkumar r much better that ARR.
  
  i know once again HCARR Fans will come thrashing on c ing this. GUYS PLS TRY TO ACCEPT FACTS.
  
  the days of ARR are long gone. nowadays YSR is the one whoz giving some variety. VS is also giving one song resembling "MALAREY"..."OREY MANAM" etc in each of his album.
  
  Am awaiting the release of PITHAMAHAN. i kinda have a feeling that this is going to be the ALBUM OF THE YEAR. IR always keeps his best ones for movies like this. Lets C.

  Not more than 57 people ever listen to it.
  Out of this 57, 48 will never listen to it again.
  Of this 48, 33 will go for ear surgery.
  Of this 33, 7 will commit suicide.

  Udaya Udaya song music is soothing. This is the kind of music i hav been waiting to hear from ARR.
  
  i dont know why these ppl cant understand the meaning of 'grows in you'. Its coz the music is simply unique each time. If its a bad music instead of liking it you will simply get bored which is never the case in ARR's world

  I am waiting for some decent review on Udaya specially 'Udaya Udaya' Song. It is probably one of ARR's best.He gave Hari such a low-voice song and both singers sang it masterfuly.

  Beautiful, ARR has again proved that he is One of the very few who are ready to experiment. Udhaya is one of those few albums, which I believe ARR will treasure.
  
  For rest of the people who are happy to listening the same old melodius songs, be ready to accept change. Give Udhaya a chance, and I can gurantee you that u will like it.
  
  Just don't dismiss it because u'r a YSR, VS or IR fan.

  Of these 56, 41 will get tired of it and quit naturally.

  Of these 37, 30 will eat so much that they will be big fat blobs. Then, they will use their rear ends to crush those IR bashers.

  Now, on the serious side. I think that people like dinesh need to GO! People that verbally abuse others because of their personal tastes should not be around in this DF! People that use filthy language should stay QUIET! Dinesh, are you listening? Please, cease to use such strong profanity or don't come back! Now, I'm being very nice, and I'm not calling you a dog, or anything of the sort, like I rightfully should have. Please, respect my request?
  
  Now, about the songs, I must say, I'm listening to the second song now, and so far, I think this is a promising album. Maybe I'd say it's better than Baba or Kaathal Virus.

  Well after listening to all his experiments, it failed to attract me. Found the music too superficial. Anyone can do it. In fact it is already happening....EVERYONE IS DOING IT! I know he acquired these trade of experimenting from his master but still I prefer his master's experimentations.
