I think karthik is the best new singer. I also like Thippu but sometimes i couldnt understand a word he is singing and lyrics and music in his songs are full of junk. I dont blame him but the music directors.

Harish Raghavendra is better in all aspects like pitching,words clarity,feeling and versatality and high range too.

Harish, Karthik and Tippu are all brilliant singers- and i love listenin to their songs- karthik and tippu have very similar voices- but th difference is their- wat happened to Yugendran- i enjoyed some of th numbers he did- but he doesnt seem to b doin much.

Sadhna Sargam, Anupama, Mahalakshmi and Harini are definitely NOT new singers... they are in the middle range definitely not older but you cant say that they are new. Especially Anupama has been around since Thirudaa Thirudaa. By New singers in female to name some are Srilekha, Anitha Chandrasekar, Chinmayi, Singer Sujatha's Daughter who has sung in Three Roses, Srivardhini etc.

Lyric clarity is absent in most of the singers today except harish raghavendra.his importance to pronounciation in contrast with tippu orkarthik or devan makes him clearly the best.other guys sing with false tanglish accents.

Although i like all the karthik's song.. I find S.P.B.Saran's voice the most melodious out of the youngsters.. he isnt getting enuf chances..

i know so many new singers arrived in last couble of years. still nobody cant stand near unnikrishnan. he is very talented singer and he is got own style of singing and he dosent emitated anybody. I am still big fan of unnikrishnan and i love his all songs.

there are lots of singers nowadays that it is difficuilt to name just one. And their voice sometimes are so similar that you hardly know the difference.

HR is best. next to him is Tipu. Karthik immitates Srinivas this is his major drawback. But a good singer.

the best new singer is karthik.he sings in a very calm way and his tone and voice pitch are always right.he also gives 'live' to the songs he sings.
my all time karthik's favourite song is nenthikitten from star.i also like ulaga alaghi from star.
as for female singer,i like chinmayi....the song kannathil mutthamittal was superb!unfortunately that was her first and last song so far....hope mds will give her chance for their songs....

Test to find out a fake:
1. wrap the currency note in a handkerchief.
2. place it on a desk.
3. beat away at it till ur hands hurt.
4. remove the note from the handkerchief.

If Gandhi thatha's kanaadi is intact it's original, udanju pochu-na fake! :p

and yeah.. err.. outta the young singers Karthik's got potential.
