Dumb comparison -
comparison should be done between primes of careers...
It is like saying "tell me one Sivaji movie that sold better than Kamal's Indian between 1986 and 1996". Compare IR (1976 - 1986) VS HJ (2001 - 2010) if he lasts that long

Why Not, If your thread is about discussing the musical careers of HJ and IR, sorry, I wouldnt dare do that. IR or ARR are miles and miles ahead of HJ in that.
I am only talking about the present day situation.
HJ is definitely among the top five composers in India at the moment along with ARR,Shankar-Ihsan-Loy,Sandeep Chowta etc.
IR has gone out of the picture since quite a long time now. And the least said about his kids' music, the better.

This thread is NOT meant for any intelligent or thought provoking discussions!
It's meant for the sole purpose of SCORING....if not, I'll be SNORING...
only blood pressure raising no goods like "Long Live IR", "Dammit HE sucks" and "tell me when was the last time HJ worked with his sons" kinda questions (which have no answers) are WELCOME.
Any resemblance to sensible intelligible sentences should be purely coincidental and kept at a minimum level in order not to interrupt the flow of this thread.

Only fools will create such kind of threads.
This is the way to compare a genius with a Sound Engineer. If u don't have the musical sense to appreciate IR's Capability, atleast don't degrade him. We tamils should be proud to have him here, who rendered gtreat musics which was now part of every tamils life. Infact his music exposed most of the tamils to quality music and created a cultural impact. Hope this won't happen again and make it sensible in what ever we do.
I could see, in the past one month some miscreants have invaded the TFM and creating unwanted debates. Hope this will stop soon.

Guys HJ isn't fit to even be compared with IR's Kids!.HJ hasn't produced a single solid piece of uncopied,original music. Granted Minnale sold a lot of copies,but that wasn't for HJ's original style of music!it was for his uncanny resemblance to ARR who was doing limited films at the time!.
Please don't kid yourselves guys,its hard to say whether ARR is fit to be compared to the genius IR.So lets not jump the gun and even try to compare HJ!

Songs..dont become hits become of uncanny resembalnces....we have to give credit to HJ even if he is a clone for being the "poor man's ARR"...why do you think Maniratnam produces movies for his assistants ? - bcos he has reached a stage where he cant be expected to repeat the same kind of movies.....he lets his assistants do that - maintains his name you know !

pay particular attention when u learn about "arrays", "pointers", "stacks","queues", ..etc. these are the difficult topic, in C++, there is a book called "Learn c++ in 21 days", it is very good, but I do not know if the book is available in India, any way good luck.
