  Thanks for Thambi Pondatti uploads. I was expecting "En Kannil ..." song from that film. I don't remember the song clearly. Goes like "En kannil edho ...... ... dama dama dim dim". I have heard this song only once some 8-9 years back. Still looking to hear that song again. Could u/anyone who has that song upload?

  I am thankful for "Alai paayudhe" from "Eththanai Konam Eththanai Paarvai" (ippadi pru padamaa ? :-)!I have always imagined what an IR version woould sound like. Even if it is not IR, I think the song is great !! Good usage of guitar and violin in the interludes !!thx once again for the song.

  Jee, sorry to confuse you :-( By IR version, I meant the redefinition of the song "alai paayuthEy" by IR. I have heard its usage by Ravindran in the movie "kamaladhaLam" (mallu) and was curious to know how IR would make the song adaptable to his style. I did not mean it to have been sung by IR himself. sorry. what you have is the IR version (if its Md is IR). Hope it clears !

  Eththanai Konam eththanai paarvai film music composed by IR. The film released in 1983. 42 other movies by IR also released in that year. I got this information from Balaji's site.

  Is that song a Bharathiar song? It's very popular, and I have heard it a lot of times. I think it was even sung in the movie 'Alaikal Oivadhilai' which had music by IR. When the music teacher is teaching Radha. It's even going to be in the movie 'Alai Payudhe'. I have a feeling that a lot of singers have rendered the same song. I think IR chose the right person to sing the song. KJY is the best for carnatic songs. And SJ has done her best. So what's the history behind the song.

  Dear IR Fans WorldWide,
  
  I have restored all the BGM tracks from GURU,MUGAM,ANNAKILLI & SIRAICHALAI in my BGM link to a different server and updated the Continuous play. You may experience problems with Individual links still, I will update them soon and also I will move all songs that have problems currently to a different server soon.
