Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy can be brought to TFM

Remember the Music Director trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, the music directors of Kamal Hassan's Alavandhaan. They seem to be missing in the Tamil scene for the last 2 years and they are doing really good in the Hindi field. They have given solid musical hits in Hindi such as; Mission Kashmir, Dil Chahtha Hai. I think they can be brought to the Tamil films again. I feel they are definitely better than Deva and a few others. I think they are the best as far as Hindi Film Music goes after A R Rahman.

I would like healthy comments who listen to Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and have a fair knowledge of Hindi Film Industry.

  Who said all of us are SEL fans. We are fans of good intelligent music and good singing ( Not Kumar sanu kind of singing!!).
  Be cool man!. You have started getting in to our nerves.
  If you do not like what we say here, stay out of this discussion. Go back, play your Kumar Sanu songs! Have a blast!.
  But please, do not abuse a genuine musician like Eshaan.

Then, see the Official Record book, it clearly indicates 28 songs recorded by KS, a record. anyway, I want to end the topic and will never cme again here as I am disappointed by you and some others. You dont even have respect for the great Kumar Sanu. Sad really. And shameful. For Ehsaanbhai, sorry if you were hurt by any message by me, I love your music. Title track of KHNH is simpy amazing.   OK Mr. Ehsaan We the Kumar Sanu fans will no longer ever listen to your music. He never would say that he will never work with you, but you being new and smart in the industry said it. Well remember this Sanu fans are in the millions worldwide you would be lucky to have thousand in the world! He has proved himself over and over, even after throat complications he has come back strong. Now your bragging about a movie that has Shah Rukh Khan (king of Bollywood) Preity ZInta, and Saif Ali Khan. The album is doing great becuase the cover features these people and their names, your name is overlooked compared to these stars. This is why your soul lacking album is not digestable really, If you think I am lying, I also work as a radio D.J so I know what people request and like and I am sorry I took a poll and you didnt even finish in the top 5 position, pretty sad isnt it? Well keep coming with these great hits, like Koi Kahe (What a classic compared to Aashiquie and 1942 love story) haa haaaa. I did like some compositions though but give me a break, Ek aur Ek Gyaarah soundtrack was a even more funnier than the movie! Now Kal HO Na HO- Have you read the reviews on the net?? For your sake dont! What are the hits this yr?? Andaaz (going to win the filmfare award!), Qayamat, Ishq Vishq, and also watchout for other Sanuji dominated albums.   One question. Is your creations generally seen as a product for CLASS or for masses also. I have a feeling that ARMAAN and KNK music is appreciated mainly by CLASSES. Even DCH and MK also has a class touch. I liked all of the above. EAEG on the other hand was for masses. KHNH again on the other hand is for classes. Is this is trend that you also admit.
  
  Also on the Kumar Sanu episode , I am personally hurt when you mentioned that you will NEVER work with him. SEL and Kumar Sanu should be a good combination. I think the follower of other singer here are becoming apprehensive about this and know very well that would end the run of their favourite. Personally KHNH title song a ideal candidate for Kumar Sanu IMHO.

  HOw pathetic the zeal for Sanu has gone.
  
  In my opinion I consider Sanu as one of the most over-rated singers in the whole world. His nasal irritating voice has been rubbished by everyone I have interacted with.
  
  I dont think he is great or anything just because he sang 50 songs in one day or he sang with monopoly for these copy cats nadeem shravan and that malik guy what ever his name is.
  
  Hindi music itself is so bad!!! on top of this Kumar Sanu's voice is so grating and horrible for people like me who are used to PB srinivas, KJ yesudas. I wonder why there is so much mud-slinging from frustrated Sanu fans.
  
  I am a fan of tamil music. I give bull-sshit to hindi music except for ARR's films and a few good ones like Dil Chatha Hai, Mast etc. I thout Sanu's voice was irritating but his fan's pledge and slander is even more horrible!!

  I recently noticed that Loy Mendosa from ur SEL team has been credited as one of the instrumentalists in the album Iruvar by ARRahman. I assume that he was the one who played the guitars for the songs. Am I right? And Shankar had already worked with Rahman quite a few times and in the process even winning a national award.
  I'd like to know whether you have worked with Rahman in any projects before u guys forming the SEL team?

  Well, i have been observing the latest developments on this forum. It is sad ehsaan that you get provoked so easily and started favoring your amature fans unnecessarily. You are the fvrt md of new gen right? ofcourse you are! you have given some excellent music recently. Does that mean that u can criticize A. Malik, NS, or KS? No dear! they have also done many amazing jobs. You have commented about MD's claiming they have 25000 tunes. It was the real genuis RDB who first claimed it in 70s. You have to go far away in your career to make such comments. Admit it, you people are still surviving on the millions of tunes made by these genius MDs.
  
  KS has also given thousands of hits. It is a totally different matter whether he sings (or suits) your music or not. KS has politely refused even to sing for ARR, so where do you stand. He sings his kind of songs and you make your own kind of music. Does that mean either one of you is inferior.
  
  I used to be your fan but now very disappointed by childish comments made by you. If you cannot represent the trio please stop posting foolish comments and send Loy or Shankar. I hope they have better writing skills than you.

  Repected Faizan and other KS fans, Thanx for spoiling this forum. Initially, when Mr. Faizan posted up the message requesting an SEL-KS comination, I thought he was a true fan. But trust me guys, HE IS NOT!!! actually, not many are true fans of KS here. If you have so much of faith in KS, if you know that KS is the ultimate singer in the world, beating the likes of Shankar, hariharan, Udit, sonu nigam....(moreover, you have evidence : max number of songs sung by KS and max number of awards!!!), so why do u even bother when someone says KS sucks. If someone comes and tells me arr sucks or sel sucks....i dont care a shit, cuz i know the facts!!! You guyz got so very heated up. Moreover the joke is that SEL never said anything bad about KS. all he said was that KS's style doesnt suit theirs. But they MAY work with him in the future or they may not at all. so whats the big deal?? If you are such true fans of KS and knows KS rules the world, just tell yourselves,"SEL is missing something in their music", and also tell yourself, "all the non-KS fans are deprived of a good ear for music". then, maintain dignified silence and leave the forum. hehehehehe, none of you did that. The only person, I can say is Mr. Swapan, who atleast deviated from the topic of KS and started asking some relevant questions.
