Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy can be brought to TFM

Remember the Music Director trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, the music directors of Kamal Hassan's Alavandhaan. They seem to be missing in the Tamil scene for the last 2 years and they are doing really good in the Hindi field. They have given solid musical hits in Hindi such as; Mission Kashmir, Dil Chahtha Hai. I think they can be brought to the Tamil films again. I feel they are definitely better than Deva and a few others. I think they are the best as far as Hindi Film Music goes after A R Rahman.

I would like healthy comments who listen to Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and have a fair knowledge of Hindi Film Industry.

  How has your experience working with Revathy for her Hindi film, Phir Milenge?
  I believe there are two songs by Vijay Yesudas in the film. Did you compose them or was it by Bhavadarini Ilayaraja?

  I listened to the songs! It's one of your best ever I must say. Shankar's "Jeene Ke Isharey" and Bombay Jayshree's "Khul ke muskura de" are very very good! (I suppose it's her 2nd number in Hindi, after the very popular Zara Zara, the Hindi version of Vaseegara).
  
  In fact all the songs are consistently good, be it Srinivas-Mahalakshmi duet or the Vijay Yesudas numbers "Phir Milenge" and "Kuch Pal", Abhijit's song, "Yaad hai voh pehli mulaqat" or the Sonu-Shreya duet, "Betaab mera Dil Hai"... and for once I am so relieved that I don't hear the irritating "soniye-kudi" "Maahi ve" and "balle balle"!
  
  How come there's no publicity or promo for this winner of an album? (Or is the previous sentence the answer to my question???) ;)

  It si really pathetic that producers and Recording companies have more than one music director ina film ,that kind of disrupts the musical feel in the film .

  hi music man we do sit in on the mix but essentially leave the engineer on his own to set up the basic mix and then come in and fine tune it

  I have been hearing stories of music companies showing their muscles by re-recording the songs with singers of their choice (without asking the MDs)and also crediting songs of upcoming MDs to that of known ones...

  U guys have to rock in South too with Tamil music, by the way why don't u guys use south Indian singers like u used Mr.Srinivas in DIL CHAHTHA HAI, pls do use singers like Karthik, Thippu, Harini, Harish Raghavendra, Sunitha Sarathy, Ranjith, Chinmayee and others...

  Your next project 'Bunty and Bubli' is a ideal project for you to experiment and give quality music. You will have a lot of scope. First of all it is a big budget movie so publicity is assured. Secondly there is scope for happy songs(when Rani marries first time), sad songs (when Amithabhs son dies or when Rani refusing to marry again) , emotion songs (when Akshay wants to marry Rani but unable to fullfill that) , marriage songs, party songs etc. So we are all looking forward to another gem from SEL. Also it always happens that public takes one alternate album of SEL and makes it a hit. So it is time for BAB ...
