Hey folks!
I saw the trailor of Harris Jayaraj's Arasatchi!!!
It was great actually, kind of a resemblance to Kakka Kakka
The movie should be a good one also, i hope

I hate being the first to respond. But yes, Arasatchi sounds great. The 2 songs being shown are quite good, going by whatever bit is shown of them. Let's wait a bit more and see if HJ comes up with another hit. So far, he seems to be on the right track.

this is HJs third moviw with CEE TV ENTERTAINMENT i suppose after minnale,majunu..
the trailor has 2 songs-mohale harish ragavendra and harini i suppose and the other only music..
both sounds good with not so heavy techno beats..

a gana song in techno beats-shankar mahadevan and sunita/swarnalatha

another folk song-not so good..theres a theme song,better

average of 8/10 for the album

superb album.o muhalai and iruvadhu vayadhu r the songs of the year and the other songs also shows good support for the album.Really ARASAAKTCHI is going to rule the rest of the TFM.long live hj.

hello guys!!!!!!!
just listened to arasatchi........am very dissappointed, DIDNT expect this from HJ.......after giving good albums like LL.....and KK.....he has

"FLOPPED" for the 2nd time in a row.....after ullam ketkume.....the songs r just RUBBISH.......xcept for 1 song.....o muhale.....

nyway....... i hope HJ delivers BETTER next time.....

the audio sales r also very poor.......and as far as i asked......some of my friends listened from my cas.......and they just said "shit".......for it..... and hereafter it seems they r going 2 listen HJ albums before deciding 2 give for "recording" or BUYING it.....

nyway 2 FLOPS......doesnt make HJ......2 slump.......hope he delivers atleast something close 2 KK.....next time......

Don't just keep wassting ur comments. Most of us haven't heard the songs.Have mercy on us and let us know where the songs are available on line. And Thank heavens "Arasatchi Sucks" is not a reviewer-he wud have been a terrible one at that- .

wait till we get t listen to all songs, and help us to do that if u can, or else keep ur mouth shut till then.

Mohalai..HJs impression with harini and harish combo in saamurais ahaya sooriyanai may have made him to do this..a melody with no heavy beats

Ippadiye vittuvidu..a diffrent fast no from HJ factory..not so pleasing

saiyo saiyo ..no comments adds to all dumps

three songs from arasaaktchi are very big hit and the market says that 60,000 cassettes has been sold in 3 days and seems to cross 1 lakh by this week.so all anti hj fans stop barking by giving rubbish reviews .u all gave the same kind of impression when saamy,LL and KK were released too,,and now accepting all these r great hits.please change your attitudes and accept that u r all not music athorities.

just heard Arasatchi...ya, only the first song "Mohalai" is good..although there a slight resemblance from the Agaya Suriyanai(Samurai)song..

others are just average, you can just listen once and forget it....

Although its slightly better than Ullam Ketkumma,
but there no impact in this album compared to Boys, Kaaka Kaaka or even Kadhal Konden..

This album is just above average..
This is HJ second dissapointing album after Ullam Ketkumma...

i tried listening to them like 10 times...no luck yet....kakha kakha was definately better....i just read an article on Cinesouth that the audio of Ullam Ketkume More has flopped...i guess this is next

Not as good as I expected it to be.Seems as if he wants to create his own type of music :similar to majnu and kaaka kaaka and 12 b...buut any way his kind is very rahmanish..

only the first song mohalaay is good.

arakonam song another version of (sariya thavara - 12B + Hey Hey Ennachu + Samurai 2nd song + Illamai Illamai - Laysa Laysa song)

20 vayasil - same Kannai konjam thirandhaen(Mr.Romeo) BGM

rest of the songs have heavy beats, but none of them make an impact in me in first 3 - 4 listenings.

Overall its no where near Kaaka Kaaka, or Lays Laysa, boys, Kadhal Kondaen

letz hope my opinion will improve after repeated listenings.

theme - yekamaavidetheeyam (baba) - well, its slogan type but i donno y HJ is trying to sound the same as ARR.
20 vayadhu - mellisaiyae(mr.romeo)
saiyo saiyo - muthu muthu mazhai (mr.romeo)

kakka kakka was brilliant.but if HJ goes on with peppy numbers alone and no variations,he's gonna get lost in his previous composings itself.
