  Malaysian Radio 6 is broadcasting a Top Ten song programme sponsored by Laxhme Aromas, called Iniyavai Pudhiyavai, Ungal Thervu. The programme comes on every Sunday at 12 noon.
  
  The ratings of songs will be based on a web poll done at your own TFMP!
  
  For the first three weeks, a total of 30 songs will be listed and polling will be done. The final analysis on Wednesday, Januay 31 will be the basis of the programme on February 4, 2001.
  
  Subsequently, new songs as they are released, will be added to the list and old songs replaced. Henceforth the top ten will be taken weekly, as at every Wednesday.
  
  This is your chance to make your choice and sshow the good folks in Radio 6 that TFMP is THE page wi the entire WWW, for Tamil film songs!

  Kindly bear with us, as I believe that this is the first time ever in the world (at least for TFM) where polling for a radio station is done over the internet. We can expect some glitches, which over time, will be smoothened out.
  
  The important thing is to sustain the enthu. :)
  
  KitKat - Thanks for your feedback. As mentioned in my earlier posting, the first three weeks will see about 30 songs played at random. Polling results will only be taken into account after that and subsequent programmes will feature songs in the format you have mentioned.

  YVS Mani - sorry for the late reply. Chinese new year holidays, etc. :)
  
  The name of the programme is "Ungal Thervu" meaning "Your Choice." The list of 30 songs are the most popularly requested songs over radio. Surely we have no control over that.
  
  To answer your question on why there are more than one song from some albums, this Top Ten is based on popularity of individual songs and not on sales of albums. Unfortunately, only one song from Bharathy managed to capture the vast majority of singers. :(
  
  When organising this programme, the first thing we agreed upon is that our (organisers) preferences would NOT be considered at all.

  Whoever producing this comical Radio Programme, I would advise to write a script that makes people laugh or atleast smile when the two announcers read ( supposed they are talking to each other but it sound so artificial that they sound as though they are forcing themselves to laugh or perhaps making funny sounds ) the script.
  
  Please listen to Enricos program in the Singapore's Station on Sunday mornings which is so realistic and actually funny. The way they entertain the listeners is natural,original and truthful. Please atleast copy the way they talk to each other. Please improve or else poeple will be continue to listen the program only to make fun of the silly way the announcers talk to each other and the unlaughable jokes that the announcers announce!
