...Gemini Studios, which paid Chopra over Rs 1 crore for the remake rights with 20 per cent of the profit and script veto powers, will launch the Tamil version with Kamal Haasan on May 15. "I was seeing a clean good family entertainer in Hindi after such a long time and I felt we should not miss a chance to remake it," explains Manohar Prasad of Gemini who is now negotiating for a remake in Kannada and a Malayalam version starring Mohanlal....

  Madrasis are smart to not overdo the celebrations.
  
  They are more composed. They feel it at heart. They dont think it is necessary to celebrate getting drunk and have a dance revel on the roads with balle balle music.

  I would suggest having a trash thread. As Kum pointed out, it would be a difficult task to get hold of the entire group again in another chat site (for trash talk) and that too simultaneously.
  I try not to post irrelevant things. But then it is not possible for a decent discussion without some extras, which are hard to define. I know these guys got a bit out of bounds, but do consider having the trash thread. We dont want to drive out people, do we :-)

  and about the trash thread.. is it possible to have one, however stupid it may sound? I mean, when there are DFers as young as 13 around here, is it actually possible to talk only abt tfm stuff? Besides, we dont have the kinda music knowledge u guys do. :(
  And I apologise again for trashing certain threads. We did that only to bring the threads to ur notice. I mean, a crazy guy comes and opens a thread called "Dheena Vs ARR". Evalo thittinaalum, reason out panninaalum, he wasnt prepared to learn. So we took things into our own hands. No, I'm not proud of doing what i did.. but there was nothin else we cud. :(
  
  But please do think about the trash thread. Ur forum has been a brilliant medium to get new friends (ahem..in the course of dicussing music!), learn stuff, sharpen wits and most importantly relax after a day's work.

  Extremely sorry for the goof up. You have done a wonderful job of creating a forum where people can exchange about tamil film music.
  If you observe, many non-ARR fans come and deliberately make fun of ARR, with all sorts of crap. It really irritates many a people. We try to chat or make fun only in those threads.
  If you observe AE thread, everyone has discussed almost everything abt AE music, trailers, characterisation, cast, crew, lyrics etc etc. we are waiting for the movie to release.
  It is not our intention to spoil other music fans interest in TFM nor to make fun of the valuable effort people like you are putting in.
  My sincere apologies once again.

  VERY SORRY. This stops, now!
  It wasn't really meant to trash your page. We deliberately talk irrelevant stuff in those threads that have been started against ARR. I mean, the ones which are pretty clearly "vayatherichal" cases. Not the ones which encourages healthy discussion. Doing that, was the only way we thought would terminate the thread and prevent further disgressions. I am not justifying what I have done, just that that's where such things mostly happen. And yeah, I do get carried away by the slightest of disgressions, I accept. Sorry, I shall refrain. I will not make this wonderful forum of yours a trash anymore.

  BTW I find it annoying that your patience has exhausted with these kind of posts only. Where were you when there were people posting obscenities? What steps were taken? Dont you think it is high time that you upgrade the site such that individual messages may be deleted by admin based on obscenity? Any automatic detection will fail, for people will use special characters etc. etc.
  
  Though a majority of us are unknown characters in this forum, being the specific target of an obscenity is not very comforting.
