Something Harris is good at is fitting the lyrics well with his music and choosing the right singers..agree or disagree?

Considering his effort in all his three films, his performance is really good. Its too early to compare him with ARR or other music directors. but at the same time, he is certainly one of the pick.

Good music..yes to an extent.
Good selection of singers..NO.Awful selection of singers none of whom know proper tamil or have good diction.

harish songs...almost same as arr...
i think harish copy ARR tune...

If HJ produces a few more 'minnale' type compositions the impact will be several times more than what IR,MSV and ARR, KR & YSR put together ever did. HJ is the first truly international pop music quality composer india has ever produced. ARR has a lot to learn from HJ. Even YSR

look at gulmohar malare song, verenna vendum and venmathiey venmathiye vendum. if they are inspired from ARR, then sorry ARR uve got to learn lot about how to be inspired and produce better than originals.

mithila, it is not 'pache nirame', but it is 'pachai nirame', meaning green in color.

So Rahman will never rule unless haris is not with him. And if you think he copies Rahman, you fool, its quiet good because he can make the tunes even better.

Hj albums Kaakha Kaakha followed by saami and layse were topping all the charts.u have to search for others inside the cassette rack.this clearly shows hj is the king of music now in tamil nadu.

You guys are taking this discussion out of hand. The answer is quite simple. I am a non-tamil girl who was attracted to the minnale soundtrack and then I bought all Harris Jayaraj music that followed. WHY? because his music was brilliant. Sure, he does what AR Rahman is doing, but thats what the majority like. Im sure as time goes on and tastes change, HJ is going to be more experimental than ARR. ARR will probably stick to his signature style forever. As far as HJ music is concerned - brilliant. As far as his singers are concerned - good, as long as he sticks to south indian singers only.

podangu.....he is one goyya who keeps repeating his tunes/style/....hey Selina..Rahman is great ok...i think i need not explain it to you...he brings out variety ....and all HJ does is remix his own songs (of course from Minnale) and throw in some clips stolen from A.R.R music...

when ARR broke into the scene in 1992 i stopped listening to IR and started listening only to ARR..... along with ARR i used to listen to bryan adams and other gr8 like kurt kobain ( not backstreet boys and britney spears stuff though)...but after HJ came along with YSR and a rejunivated VS i have stopped listening to rockers too and i listen only to TFM...... i'm very proud to say that TFM currently is one of the best in world...... HJ is a major catalyst in this step..... but ppl. shuld also acknowledge that it was concerted efforts of ARR that has put TFM into top t'day...... but his juniors (HJ ,YSR) have really taken TFM where ARR wud have intended it to...

To Abhishek who thinks he control peoples opinions: In this forum I gave my opinion. I love AR Rahman, in his own place, he is sensational to say the least, I never said he wasn't. I am still listening to his BOMBAY over and over that is how good he is . But WHY are we comparing AR and HJ???? That is not why we are here. SO Abhishek, you should go and check the topic of discussion at the top of the page again (WISE-GUY!!!) Anyway, to the more open-minded people, the only thing AR and HJ have in common is providing entertainment for everyone. They both do something different from other mainstream producers - it is upto you to hear it or not. Some poeple like HJ, so individuals like ABhishek shouldn't criticise them either.

You can just listen once and forget the songs..
There's no impact at all...

Boys, Kaaka Kaaka, Kadhal Konden are much better than this crap...

Even i feel Parasuram (Arjun's previous film before Arasatchi) had more better tunes than this rubbish album...

My Conclusion:
This is for sure HJ's second flop album after Ullam Ketkumma...

If HJ keeps doing this, he's going to lost his place in TFM...
