  I too am a big fan of IR. I listened to ARR's Meenaxi and Warriors of Heaven and Earth. They both are pretty good and different. We should congratulate him for that... what you say?

  pls listen to YEh Rishta. ARR uses a very high pitched honky-tonky piano sooo beautifully in the charanam I think near the beginning of the song.
  
  It is this aspect of ARR I worship. I have never heard of such a high-pitched melodious piano with such a timbre in any kind of music. When I heard this it "surprised" me and I was like "whoa what was that and reqound and listened again.
  
  
  This is the surprise aspect I have been laboring abt in my last few posts abt ARR and why he is unique to me. Not that this aspect makes him better than everybody else. Just that this aspect mesmerizes me! thast all
  
  But pls guys listen to yeh rishta, may fav song after the noorr-ul- na -a qawali

  Is it meant to read as Meenak-si or Meenakshi or Meenachi?

  you should know better.
  
  'la' is totally different from 'zha'.
  
  In english, there is no equivalant letter for tamizh 'ZHA' (I mean the letter 'zha' in tamil).
  That's why we use 'zha'. Vera vazhi (according to you, 'vali') illai.
  
  If we use 'la' instead of 'zha' people would read it as tami'l' (pronouncing 'l' with their nuni-naakku).
  
  In case of Meenaxi, for 'shhhh' sound, we can use 'sh' in english. But why northies use 'x'? That was my question.
  
  Tamizhukku azhage indha 'zha' thaan!
  
  Idhai eppadi english-il ezhuduveergal?
  
  "Tamilukku alage indha la thaan." Funny aaga illai? Ask someone who don't know tamizh to read this line..
  
  Now you would understand why northies kill tamizh when they sing tamizh songs. Because they write down their tamizh lyrics in English (with 'la' instead of 'zha').

  WOHE pathi antha threadlayae naan paaraatti pesitaen. it sounded similar to CTHD. athae madri when i heard the much hyped cyclists rhythm i listened to it and immtly i remembered annathae aadraar so i commented upon it. atha kooda yaethukka mudiyala ARR fansaala.
