Ilayaraja to Sing in Super Star's BABA!

Ilayaraja will sing in ARR's music for the first time in Rajini Kanth's latest movie, Baba!

The song, "Raasaa nee nooraandu kaalam vaazhanum," will be the title song. Apparently this movie will be the last movie of Super Star before he moves into politics, like Madhuraiyai Meetiya Sundara Paandiyan was for MGR.

What this confirms is that both IR and ARR have mutual respect for each other and it is their fans who are fanning all the aggravation against each other. :)

ARR has used MSV for a couple of movies (Sangamam and Kannathil Muthamittaal) and IR singing for him should not come as a surprise.

This could also have been a result of the personal request of Rajini to IR.

Hopefully, with this news, fans of both geniuses will put aside thier differences and start appreciating both the genius' music.

  good one. I almost believed u. I even believed the Indiatimes article tat Vajpayee is getting married. I'm so naive.
  ANyway, I heard ARR had completed 2 songs for Baba so far and had been given approval by Rajini. Hope tat one's for real.

  We jus need to continue discussing tis as if it was real. but the rule is no one shud mention the april fool's bit again. I'll start wit my next post. Hopefully i'll be getting follow-ups.

  Everyone know very well that IR is heir of MSV. Even when IR was new and creating waves, MSV didn't have any problem to sing in IR's music. IR too didn't have any problem to sing in MSV's music. No one wondered how can MSV sing in IR's music or the other way. But, what is the present situation? This is not fun. It is something serious.
  
  After hearing Annakilli songs, MSV went to the nearby studio where IR was in recodring and wished him. Why is not happening nowadays. Once IR had finished Symphony, first he had taken that to MSV. Why is this mutual respect is missing nowadays?
  Forget about the MDs. Take the music lovers. I am IR fan. I should not listen ARR music. He is an idiot. ARR fans are no way less than IR fans. Dirty politics in music field too. If someone bashes IR, ARR fans will be very happy. Simillarly IR fans too. Why is it so? Think about it first.

  The topic selected was with the fervent wish that both groups settle their differences. Nothing else could be more attractive. Why do you find fault with it? :)
  
  In retrospect, you can claim that IR was MSV's heir. But certainly, MSV didn't know that when IR
  was recording Annakili. :)

  I am curious to also know what makes you think that there is no mutual respect between IR & ARR?
  
  And as for fans, ask any old timer and they will tell you much they disregarded IR over MSV. As someone else said, sandaiyum satcharavum endrum rasigargalin urimai. :)
