  Kurumbu audio release posters are all over Chennai.It seems it is being held in HFO in the evening.

  Managed to hear Thennavan. All songs are good but once again YSR has been let down by his female vocal selection. Padmalata lets the song down and is not impressive at all. The less said about Sharmila, the better. Malgudi Shuba is as usual a let down

  Heard all of the songs and here is my review.
  1. Vatta Vatta - Nice melodious song. Unnimenon sounds great but Padmalata sounds shrill and very childlike.Not really a great choice of female singer for this song.Apart from this, a great song. 8/10
  2 Vinothane - Another slow melodious song. The song is repeated later on in the album. I feel the other version is better,solely for the reason that Mahalakshmi does not sound as comfortable as Srilekha. 9/10
  3. Desa Katre - A fast song, Shankar Mahadevan as usual does his part justice. Ganga is a talented singer. I don't know why she sticks to mainly singing chorus. A fun and peppy song. 8/10
  4. Englishil Paadinaa - Malgudi Shuba, again in her usual style. Sounds a little like arupathu ayiduchu from Mounam Pesiyadhe. Overall a listenable song. 7/10
  5. Vinadhane II - Srilekha sounda good on this song.But in part resembles Anuradha Sriram. But with Srinivas singing with her, they make the song superb.One of my picks of the album. 10/10
  6. Adi Saamy - Sharmila sticks out like a sore thumb.Not a good choice for singing with a great like SPB. SPB however sounds spectacular.The song sounds as though it was written just for him, he has sung it with such ease and perfection. I am hooked on this song. 10/10
  
  Overall another great album from YSR. He has kept up to my expectations of his work after Kadhal Konden. Well done.

  Pick of the album - va masakatre. I was very eager to listen to asai 100 vagain since it was a remix of IR song. I was expecting something similar to pepsi ad. But it is a club mix and little bit disappointed (it will be good for dance floors though). Oviya has shades of song from Bad. adichchi pudichchi is a fun song. Over all a definite chartbuster album if the songs were filmed properly.

  If there is one word describing my feelings after hearing "Thennavan" and "Kurumbu",then it wud be "Disappointment".After the high of "Kadhal Konden",I had expected YSR to climb even higher.......... :-(

  I sadly do not believe in the concept of a slow pick-up.I like a song in the first 2-3 times of hearing or I do not like it at all.It is not that YSR does not have the talent but it is just that he has not come up with songs that are brilliant.
  
  And for the "Re-Mix" song I was waiting for a YSR tuned IR song treat.............

  I abide with ur comment saying that the songs are not that brilliant. But they are better than the songs from the other movies which are released now.
  The Remix was disappointing i agree with you.
  But the Va Masakatre is an excellent song..
  it will be a chart buster. and so are the songs in Thennavan.. Yuvan has given good stuff for vijayakanth.

  I greatly respect the way U have expressed U'r comments.And for the comparison part with other movies,I feel that one is not a valid argument.And I never said that all the songs are bad.The "Vaa Masakatre" and "Ooviya" songs are good.But I still feel it cud have been better...............
