  true gayathri...athan varuvaaga is predominantly Mohanam, with some corruption in charanams (and even in the first & interlude chorus right?)..Mandu, hope u r watching this correction...

  also, there is one question i have, i used to play the violin, hence my left hand fingers are quite adept at quick movements, would anyone have any ideas/ advice as to which guitar i shud pick up.. left or right?

  FYI, I read through almost every posting. If I dont say a word about something it just means I am ignorant about it. That is why I keep mum for some questions whereas answer some of those which I am familiar with. For eg, ur question about udhayaravichandrika - I dont know this. Instead of saying "I dont know" repeatedly and filling this thread with my ignorance rather than content, I remain silent :-) That is all.

  udhayaravi chandhrikA = sudhdha dhanyAsi...
  UDRC is the older name for SD...OK va? (by the way, MndCl1 will not be dormant state, according to my limited chemistry knowledge...semi filled orbitals are highly imbalanced and crave to go into satisfied valencies...so dormant state would be MndCl2 and unstable state will be MndCl1)

  GAYATHRI...same feeling here...but he (bharadhwaaj) sings well doesn't he?..'AVARAVAR VAAZHKAYIL' is well rendered...SAR seems to be the sole proprietor of sivaranjini in TFM world, but not much variety in usage...IMHO

  IR_Fan, in the arohana then, why is it that some ppl tell me its actually P N P S', instead of P N S' in SD, whereas it is in UDRC that the P wedges itself in between?
  (this sounds like management consultancy, something an analyst would hear.. full of short forms and acronyms.. yanyway.)

Read this entire thread right from the beginning (approx 110 "old responses" links right from the inception of this thread). you will have loads and loads of VeryHeavy-Heavy-Light-HeavyLight but superb discussions. A Bonus, you'll come to know the name of our MS the Great.

  btw guys, is the song 'mudhar kanave' from Majnu in Shanmugapriya ? it sounds very close to it. but, also uses M1 frequently.
