  After hearing Karthik Raja's Kahte Hain Jisko song in his debut hindi film Grahan, I am convinced that here is a son so talented to be called a worthy vehicle of his great father's name.
  
  That song -sung by Kavita K and Abhijeet, is so different, that I don't think that even one of the most revolutionary songs ever, Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' can compare to it in terms of class, elegance, beauty, charactrer, poise. I mean to say that Kahte Hain Jisko is like a Mahabalipuram Silai. It will stay there for time immemorial.

  Karthik Raja did not get the best music-director award for GRAHAN. But he got the award for best(????) new music talent(R D Burman award).

  Thank God . There is a thread for this film's songs. I really liked it very much. Till date, it's KR's best. I think the KR , who is doing music now, is just a shadow of what we had in Grahan ,Ullasam and Bible (TV serial). Where is the real KR lost?

  UKP did not impress me that much. DDD was a late pickup in my chart. I had some wonderful number. That Ragasiyamai is really sweet. One thing that I need to mention here. Its about the BGM of DDD. It was very catchy and really innovative. It added to the joy of the film.
  But, still KR should take big steps. He should resist mediocre directors and movies and should wait for good script and challenging project. There are others like deva , sirpi to look after these Mediocre dir.

  konjam over! I agree kehte hai jisko is a good song. I liked it very much.
  
  but if u r comparing the very peak, the # 1 song in the western world. u should stck up a good competitor.
  
  to its apples and oranged or to put it orange pips and apples. over! glorification. I guess he got carried away! :-)
  
  but personally Kehte hai jisko was a wonderful song. Its a pity its not vailable anywhere in the web. i tried buying the casstae for a year with no success.
