Audio of AM Ratnam's latest offing 'Nee Manasu Naaku Telusu' (NMNT) was released in a grand style at a function arranged in Sandhya 35mm on 2nd November 2003. The guests who came to the occasion were VV Vinayak, Allu Arvind, YVS Chowdary, Reema Sen, Anitha, Sonia Agarwal, SP Charan, Sri Raghava, financier Satya Rammurthy, Sadanand and Suman Shetty.
AM Rathnam said that he opposed when his son said that he would approach AR Rehman for music because Rehman takes lots of time to compose music. But Jothy Krishna was persistent on taking Rehman as music director. AM Rathnam said that Rehman would take more time to give great music. He said that extracting music from Rehman is not easy. Only directors of Shankar, Mani Rathnam, Ram Gopal Varma and Subhash Ghai caliber could extract right music from him. AM Rathnam said that AM Jothy Krishna is the youngest director (age is 20 years) in India.
Tarun said that AR Rehman is the inspiration behind him accepting this film as Tarun's lifetime ambition is to work with Rehman.
Trisha said that she is currently doing a film with Pawan Kalyan as hero. She also complimented that Tarun is a comedian (it means that Tarun has great sense of humor). She said that she had a ball while working for this film.
Year 2003 is a significant year for AM Rathnam. He produced 4 films each in Telugu and Tamil. AM Rathnam said that Ganesh - cinematographer - is a great technician. He worked for the 4 square advertisement in the past.
They projected a theatrical trailer and two full songs from the film on 35mm screen of Sandhya theater.
After watching the songs, Allu Arvind said that he felt very glad. He also said that by projecting the songs, AM Ratnam proved how far he is ahead from the standards of moviemaking in Telugu.
YVS Chowdary said that he is feeling jealous of Jothy Krishna after watching how he canned the songs. He also liked the experimental style of AM Rathnam in writing lyrics.
VV Vinayak said that he felt the songs are so rich in visuals that it needs double the screen size to justify it. He said that it was Jothy Krishna who conceived the scene of showing age difference for Ramya Krishna character in Padayappa film.
This title 'Nee Manasu Naaku Telusu' is having the caption 'Strictly for Uth'.
Jhansi and Udayabhanu anchored the event. Udayabhanu turned out to be center of attraction for the entire show.

Nart Villeneuve at University of Toronto has set up a proxy to Yahoo Groups which works much better as it allows one to login, read, post and moderate the Yahoo groups as well.
Click this.

This is only for accessing yahoo groups. Enter the URL in the small window and access this. I found this to be very useful. Hope you too!

Also try http://proxify.com - works very well. You could login, read, post and moderate via this. Just that certain type of file downloads (like zip files) are barred.

Kum_Laden ,
Maybe u were refering to me,in my review i didnt like the repetition in the end of a song but i didnt like it in teh song Sandhipoma. At the end the lyrics were very boring just repeating sandhipoma. But i loved teh song "'Azhahinna Azhahi " so maybe u were refering to sumone else.

Guys, guys is there a more soulful number in Charukesi than Yedo, Yedo ....... I am just in love with this Raaga. Hats off to Charukesi and thanks ARR for making the most soulful number in this Raaga.

Too much noise in the songs that would make a dog to wince.
Rahman is following the US stock market I think. This is the second dip after a promising future with Boys and Tehzeeb.
Hopefully he will recover as the economy too :-)

so outta d many comment ive heard only 2 ppl dont like it, sounds like a hit to me.
curses i was asking Kum Laden and was hoping for his opinion cuz i am of that same opinion that the repetive lyrics in the end(cept for me its sandhipoma) can mess up an otherwise gr8 song. Once sandhipoma nears the last min i skip to the next song cuz i dont wanna hear sandhipoma sandhipoma repeated

E20U18 is definitely an interesting album, ARR is catering more to the public's taste. All songs end of in 4 or 5 minutes, they are good, short and sweet. Dont know whether the songs will be hit or not. But judging by the tuneful and lightness of the songs, they will be on many peoples' lips for sometime atleast until the next superhit by YSR or HJ or ARR himself. A good album to follow up after Boys.

Pirath,
Sorry if you mentioned about 'Santhipoma'. But i am always the fan of ARR the way he ends a song. he adds tabela and some nice beats usually. I love it so much. examples like ending of 'onnu irandu moonuda' from Pudhiya mannargal, ending of shakalaka baby.. etc. Alagin Alagi has same like ending. not in the case of Sandipoma i guess.
curses,
lol! super kadi but ofcourse i didnt mean i was happy when the song finaly ended!
Nice album! feel like ARR is back to where he was in the 90s.

today in my bathroom i composed 6 tunes just randomly all what rahman does for a living, i send them down the drain almost every other day. enakku 10 unakku 9. the state of music is so bad in India today that composing fascinating interludes is considered outdated because it is impossible. and the whole country is depending on one guy who as grow older is still sounding like an 9! grow up guys.
rahman, get away from boys, girls, enakku 3 kaal unakku 2 kaiyi. Grow up, Rahman. Please! Even younger composers like harris and karthik don't touch such stuff.
