Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy can be brought to TFM

Remember the Music Director trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, the music directors of Kamal Hassan's Alavandhaan. They seem to be missing in the Tamil scene for the last 2 years and they are doing really good in the Hindi field. They have given solid musical hits in Hindi such as; Mission Kashmir, Dil Chahtha Hai. I think they can be brought to the Tamil films again. I feel they are definitely better than Deva and a few others. I think they are the best as far as Hindi Film Music goes after A R Rahman.

I would like healthy comments who listen to Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and have a fair knowledge of Hindi Film Industry.

  Thanks for that link. As usual may people there have expressed diverse opinions. My take on that would be that we dont need a national language. And personally I feel Samskritham and English should be institued as Nat'l language if were to really have any in practice.

  What are your new films? Who are singing in your film Rudraaksh? Does it have any classical/raaga-based song? If so, who is singing it?
  
  I know a bit about Shankar. He is a master in North Indian and South Indian classical. But I do not know much about yourself and Loy. Would you let me know?

  Hi Dilwala our next music releases will be Rudraksh , Kyon ......... Ho Gaya Na , Lakshya and we are working on a couple of yet untitled films. Rudraksh' music is a blend of chants and techno the singers are Richa Sharma , Gayatri Iyer , Mahalaxmi Iyer , Kunal , Shweta Pandit , Shankar Mahadevan and a new singer called Krishna . It is a very hard hitting album befitting the kind of film that Rudraksh is.

  I watched Kucch Na Kaho ....I think the movie did not have a clear screenplay and the song " aachi lagte hoon" and "Kucch Na Kaho" was superb ..and teh solo violin ( is it violin ??) used at many places were good ....

  Hi we got together to compose the music for mukul anands dus which never got made due to mukuls death. loy and i worked together for a few years before we got inot films shankar used to sing for us and do indian arrangements for us.
  we all have diverse hobbies i guess the common one would be watching films.

Since Hollywood producers are believed to be approaching you over Rahman, but Gurindher Chadha (what a talent. Bend It Like Beckham was superb, but comparing this slick film with poorly made My Fat Greek Wedding was the sad part)
  is approaching Anu Mallik and so did Moulin Rouge take a Mallik song.
  
  what do you guys really think of Mallik? ( i think other than Baazigar, this guy is one huge storehouse of crap) Is he used for substandard pedestrian loudspeaker music, and is he used like in MRouge because his music is no threat to Hollywood musicals? do you feel you are approached because of such an attitude of Hollywood that mallik is enuff for depiciting indian music as noise, and SEL is needed for stylish scores?
  
  No. 2: I saw Company (no comments, and songs were just out of place) do you think such Indian songs are relevant even for Indian films anymore, where the tone has just changed from the enjoyable "frivolousness and sensual" to the boring and cheap "reality and hardcore"? I don't think Indian raaga theme pop rock songs are suitable for that grim tone, what do you think?
  
  No.3: Do Hollywood producers that come to meet you know about Ilayaraja's achievements like Hungarian Orchestra for Lajja, Hey Ram?
  
  No.4: Do you feel that the neo-reality in Indian movies really require Hollywood level scores and that you or Ilayaraja should be working for Hollywood co-productions and not Indian films?
